Hey everyone! Today I'm sharing my DESK TOUR to hopefully give you some ideas on how to ORGANIZE your desk...Being a university student makes my desk the place I spend most of my day, so I like to make sure it's a space that is both functional, and inspiring :) I'm also giving you a look into how I keep all my bullet journal pens/supplies organized...hope you enjoy it!

My favorite part of my desk is my candle collection (19 and counting!). While studying, if I ever get too stressed out, I'll just pick one that settles me at the time and watch it melt for a few minutes until I feel better.

I love your channel so much!! That's an awesome setup. My favourite item on my desk is my vase of fresh flowers because it gives my workspace such a nice atmosphere. Also that washi tape dispenser is amazing. I'm gonna make one myself now.

Love your videos Caitlin! A word on succulents, your little guy will need to be planted in a well draining pot/container (i.e. with a hole at the bottom) if it isn't already, and it will need to be placed by a well-lit window, so maybe by the big frame on your shelf or on a window sill (direct sunlight is not necessary but ambient light is) so it can thrive. I used to be terrified of plants until I started taking care of succulents...I LOVE THEM! Good luck with yours!!

I found a 4-compartment acrylic pen holder (at HomeGoods) that fits perfectly on my IKEA picture rail above my desk and I love keeping all of my bullet journal colorful pens in it!

Currently, what I like about my desk is my pencil holder and my collection of mugs. I cleaned it up a bit last week, to try and get one of my stacks under control. It's BETTER, but still messy. (I'm one of those 'controlled chaos' people who knows where everything is in the mess.) Kinda looking forward to not staring at it every day once I move on campus next week. ;P I really like your idea of the paper organizer for printer paper and notebook paper. Might have to do something similar, myself.

Wow, your desk looks amazing, I'm in love with the rose gold and marble theme 😍 On a side note, the funniest thing just happened while I was watching this: when you were talking about your printer and said "XP" I suddenly heard a little alert noise on my Samsung Galaxy S8 which is sat right next to me and it turns out you actually activated my phone's virtual assistant, Bixby, as it thought you said the word "Bixby"! Hey Caitlin, your succulent needs a pot with drainage holes. I usually put mine in plastic drainage pots and then I put those in slightly larger decorative planters and then just empty the water after it drains. And make sure you give them a little sun each day. :)

My desk definitely needs height, so much clutter but it does mean that I have a valid excuse to shop for desk supplies which means 1. tidy desk 2. furthering my unhealthy obsession with stationery ... Also wanted to ask if you've seen the papermate inkjoy gel pens? I was always a fan of the ballpoint inkjoys and wanted your opinion on the gel's apparently they dry super fast...

Haha, I know, they're not cheap 😅 Not sure if you're a student, but if ever get one, go to the apple store to get a student discount..I try to also buy their products when they're are on sale/promotion...it helps a little :)
