Karthik Menon Dear KarthikIn our overhaul videos our Service Technician shows how to disassemble the pump, replacing all parts which we normally recommend to replace and then assembly the pump again. All the parts that are used for the overhaul are included in our DESMI spare parts kit with genuine spare parts. The wear ring and the impeller are not parts that normally have to be replaced. Therefore it is not shown and mentioned in our overhaul video. But if you want to check the clearance between the impeller and the sealing ring, the answer is max 0.4-0.5 mm. measured in radius. Measure the ID on the case or cover, then measure the OD on the impeller, the difference is your clearance.
