It is his son. His time in NY at the bar, before he was taken by Abstergo, he had mingled with numerous women. Not sure if he had sexual relations with them, but it could be. Also, the mother might have EVE DNA, and passed it down to his son. The greatest Assassins was believed to be Desmond, but its actually the son. Thats what im theorizing.

Pretty sure Ubisoft has abandoned the EVE bloodline plot. I wouldn't be surprised if they do introduce Desmond's son in Origins/Empire, since the rumors state that William Miles is back.

Not a rumor. William Miles will be found. Back during Black Flag they had an online site where you unlock stuff and a lot of new story content was on that site. Long story (kinda short), William Miles left a random document with his location secretly coded in it. So, Rebecca and Shaun went to Japan, a group of persecuted Assassins sailed away with them, found William Miles in hiding and then one of the Assassins who was sailing with them ended up being a Templar spy who tried to murder them and then i forgot the rest. I think it mentioned the Sword of Eden that was part of ancient Eastern European legend or something like that.

In the ending of syndicate, one of the doctors said that the shroud heals a person on a cellular level, if the assassin's are able to at least find what's left of Desmond and the shroud, idk bout'it, but there might be a chance of Desmond coming back, assuming that he isn't cremated or eaten or something like that.

After Lydia Frye kills the master spy, Juno tells you (the player) that he was a sage. Also, as Lydia chases him, he's spouting off crazy shit about reuniting with Juno.

Ok. So there's one plothole in the ability to relive Desmond's memories. They'd only be able to view Desmond's memories UP TO THE POINT OF CONCEPTION. This is because the memories are genetic, not some telepathic link between parent and child. And, since we have no idea when or where the child was conceived, only that he's 10 years old (Which if I remember correctly is about 3 or 4 years BEFORE the Assassin's Creed story starts altogether. Any data from Desmond's life would only be the location of the Assassin's training camp (There is multiple, and by now the camp Desmond grew up in was either destroyed or relocated) and the WAYS he was trained, like the silent sneaking through the house and unlocking the door without being heard. Though it would be nice to play a game where we train as an assassin AS young Desmond. Especially that scene that Desmond talks about where he does the silence test. So the only real use they'd have for his kid is the Precurser DNA (Desmond was probably the only living human with such a high concentration of it) and the fact that his DNA holds the memories of the past assassins in the bloodline, which means instead of the fragments they get from studying Desmond's DNA samples, they'd get about the full story as long as the kid stays in Synch. They could also manipulate the child into being trained as a Templar with an Assassin's skills, by putting him through Haythem and Shay's memories, both stories of those who grew up as Assassins and later turned to the side of the Templars.

This. I thought the same. But I've heard somewhere that ubisoft wanted to make a master modern day assassin to fight the templars. So with going to al those timespans of desmond it can be possible and after that we don't know what history his biological mom has. So it still would be very interesting.

Actually we don't. We see Connor's mother's memories after she becomes pregnant. It wasn't until after Lee was indicted into the Templar Order that Haythem and the Native woman had a child. After that we no longer see Haythem's memories, but we see him through the memories of others.

just played through, 'Desmond's Memories" in Revelations....the mother who brought her son in to see the doctor (stated in the this audio clip) is prob the chick who owned the bar Desmond worked at. Its pretty clear in the, "escape" mission that Des was getting all kinds of laid when he lived in the city. Plus he says that the only reason he thinks he got the job was cuz the owner was into him. He then says nine years go by before he was kidnapped by Abstergo. That audio clip prob takes place like two years later which would put his son at around ten. Could be wrong but i thought this was pretty likely.

There are some big problems with this theory, for one thing a descendant only has the memory of his or her ancestor till the point of conception. Also they already have all of Desmond's memories to access, because they have his freaking body, memories do not need to be encoded through procreation to be relived, this was confirmed during AC3 when they were worried that Abstergo might use the Animus to force William Miles to reveal the location of the Grand Temple. Now that anyone can view anyone's memories all that Desmond knew is already compromised...

What if next game Desmond's son is the protagonist and like in AC1 you can - in the present day parts - explore and find out the life of your father (Desmond). Then the Bleeding Affect kicks in at the same time as the visions of the First Civilization does. They can end the game on a really mysterious ending where Juno talks to him and she says what her plan is. Game after that they could use what the original plan for Desmond was (he was meant to be some ultimate Assassin who could time travel because of the Bleeding Affect). So Desmond's son can now time travel by shifting his consciouness into his ancestors. After you find out the origins of the First Civilization the game ends. Next game you meet Galina (the female Assassin in the modern day in Syndicate). And since she possibly the Daughter of Eve you could team with her and take down Juno!! This is all at Ubisoft's pace coz we all know they like taking their sweet time with the modern day.

yeah, kinda makes a bit of sense. because within some of the database in AC Syndicate, they talk about Dr. Rikkin, who of course, in the movie is the one who runs the Abstergo Industries within the movie. (there are many Abstergo facilities). that is a pretty good theory that it would be Callum Lynch. however, with that being noted, he would not be Desmond's son, obviously. makes you think a bit though.

They won't be able to see desmond's memories of him being captured by abstergo aka AC I all the way to AC III because the kid was already born, the memories are hidden inside the gene, logic says that the moment the person is born the memorie is stored inside and it doesn't progress any further. The only thing that breaks that logic was that sequence with altair's death, but I'm no quite sure if that was Desmond's memories, a flashback, the power of the keys or even that apple of eden hidden within his library, it did create illusions.

Yes, they do tend to do that, thankfully I don't care that much for AC's Lore and I'm grateful that the most recent games don't have you go around as an employee of Abstergo. I play AC mostly for the setting and the epicness that is the assassins, the recen ones such as Arno and the twins not so much, but Ezio, Altair and Connor all looked badass as F**k, even if Connor had as much of a personality as a door.

I liked Unity as well, in fact the only AC game I have on the xbox one is unity, I just don't like Arno, he tried too much to be like Ezio on ACII (aka before Ezio became wiser and badass in revelations, my personal favorite ac) he was this rebelious young man that lived the teen dream of debauchery, party and girls (girl in arno's case) that lived with a rich family, had this romantic tale, everything he loved was taken from him and then he joined the creed because of father dearest, just glad that at least Arno got to become an Assassin right away, Ezio took half of the game to down the outfit. And on a side note, Ezio absolutely nailed on the charming and romantic department; my list of the best Assassins when it comes to personality are: Ezio Edward Altair (after his story is explored on AC rev) Shay The male Frye who's name I forgot Adwale Evie Frye Arno The Slave Chick Connor

Funny thing is that by the end of black flag he was still not an assassin, he said that "when my heart calms down" he would become one, most likely when he settled down with his daughter. To tell you the truth, I don't really remeber revelations' story, like, I know why ezio was there, but I dunno how the sulton and yusuf got envolved, I just loved istambul and Ezio's new look; I beat brotherhood thrice now and to me is the second best in the story department, II still holds that title, also I did not like the map all that much, it displayed little to nothing of the vatican and had FAR FAAARRR too much open space down on the forum, I have a trauma with AC when I can't go freerunning and have to saddle up one of those ugly, wonky horses, but I do miss that brotherhood mechanic where you would train you assassins on the camp and call upon them, the view points where templar bases and now they are just landmarks... ahh nostalgic, I think that tomorow I'm gonna play brotherhood again.

I think the body the Abstergo scientist is making will be a body for Juno to be free since she's kind of stuck in the machines she mentions that in 1 of the games I believe it's in AC BlackFlag when you play as a Abstergo employee snooping around she mentions something about thinking Desmond's sacrifice would free her&it kind of did it freed her mind from where it was stuck in the machines of the temples but she says something about needing a body to be able to actually freely walk around the girl at the end of syndicate mentions being afraid &Juno thought she meant afraid for herself but she says not for herself afraid for Juno that the scientists will find out what they're planning so I believe Juno plans on taking control of the body

Ey, I've got this fanfic of my own about "Assassin's Creed" in which Desmond had a daughter with Lucy some time before "AC: Brotherhood", and since I want this brother of hers to still be around his 10 years old when they meet, tell me what you think of this idea to explain his slower aging proccess: -Do you remember that risky proccess in "AC: Odyssey" that could turn a human into an Isu ? So, back when the Isu still existed, the boy's mother's Isu ancestor was the one who created that proccess in an attempt to turn the most valuable human slaves into Isu, in the hopes that this could gain their favor and give humans somewhat of a say in their treatment, in the hopes of preventing a world war. However, he was one of those Isu who mated with humans, so he decided to use this proccess on her so that they could be together without anyone standing in their way. The proccess was successful, however, unknown to both of them, she was pregnant of at least 2 months, and because the proccess was especifically designed to turn only one human, even though the baby was affected, he didn't become a full Isu, but he did not remain an hybrid either, since that would imply his genes were balanced 50/50, and the baby was now 90% Isu/10% human. When it came the time for the baby to make descendants, they all inherited this high rate of Isu cells inside of them throught out the generations, and when it came the time of Desmond's son, because he wasn't fully human, Aita's conciousness considered him an hybrid and "possessed" him (I don't know 100% how this conscience transfer works), however, since Isu's aging proccess are, as we know, a LOT slower than ours, and the kid inherited the 90% of Isu genes, his aging proccess also turned out to be slower than that of a human.

I think in the present game abstergo finally takes over the world and Desmond's son must train with other assassins and travel to different continents and soon hit the main abstergo tower of that place and kill the Templar that owns it freeing the nation and u know get the memory thing like in the other games to find where his dad is or what abstergo did to him and kill the Templar leader at the end of the game and find the truth of Desmond and as you thought it was over Juno is revived and with her revival it damaged time and all the assassins u play as in all the games (except rouge) and they all work together to stop her with them all staving her with their hidden blades

Desmond was 25 when he died and the kid is 10, but years have passed since Desmond's death, so the kid was younger than 10 when Desmond died.

The message was recorded on 04-10-2015 (see the video). Desmond died the 21-12-2012, or not, maybe he's alive, there are some theories, who knows, but point is, he was 25 on that date. So the kid was approximately 7 years old (I'm not guessing his birth month here now). Desmond would have had the kid when he was 18, so he conceived him with 17. That sounds realistic to me. EDIT: I guess we could see the kid sooner than we think. 2017 he'll be 12, maybe they'll start recruiting him soon, and only use him for the Animus (both Templars and Assassins). That would make an interesting story, two fractions so focussed in their battle that they go so far as using a 12 year old. And with the time he grows older, and when he's 16 or so, he starts acting outside the Animus. I'd love to play that game, with a younger protagonist.

This would be amazing for the modern day if this is Desmond's son. It can't be a coincident that this boy has the ancestors just like Desmond and of course we have Sub16's old message from AC:B(which Jeffrey Yohalem also wrote besides Syndicate). What I want to know is, who is the mother? I don't know if this is possible or not but stay with me. A person who has a high percentage of first civ DNA can become a sage. We know Desmond had a high percentage but he wasn't a sage. If two persons with high percentage of first civ DNA have gets a child together, the child would have a even higher percentage and with that an even bigger chance of being a sage technically, right? What I'm trying to say is could Desmond's son's mother have a high first civ percentage also? Could she be Eve? In Eden, fin Eve. The key, her DNA. Is the son the key?

How does the audio file mean that Desmond has a son, all the audio file says is that the sage is a ten year old boy and that he has the same ancestors as Desmond? I thought all of the subjects had mostly the same ancestors or something like that because subject 16 was a descendant of Altair and Ezio like Desmond. Plus I thought there could only be one incarnation of the sage at a time and the latest sage we saw didn't die until after Desmond. Another thing if Desmond did have a son then why haven't the assassins got him under protection and why didn't Desmond mention him once over the course of the first five games. IMO this theory has a lot of holes in it.

The kid can live his ancestors memorys like desmond but desmonds son will not be able to see part of desmonds life because After desmond having, well you know what with women, desmonds sperms will contain desmonds memory befor having sex. So desmonds son would not be able to see what happend after abstergo kidnapped him because desmond dose't have any relationship with any women, not that we know of. So in conclusión desmonds son would not be able to see desmonds memorys. Who knows, Lucy could be the kids mother. Who knows after all even in on part of revelations when desmond is in the dark room you can hear his dad Williams asking the other two if desmond and lucy were more than just freinds. And then one of them said, well theres been some romántic looks between them.

I mean, somewhere along the line there may have been many kids branching out :P I haven't played syndicate but is there anything I don't know that confirms its Desmond's kid? I️ feel that we will be playing as that girl in origins like that’s her whole origins to getting into the assassins it’s extremely possible cause most abstergo have light weaponry which includes a baton and a pistol but in every assassin creed there’s atleast 3 type of enemies regular ppl- baton and pistols brute- give them like bullet proof armor and some type of different weapon maybe a electrified version then like the shooter type can be like has a machine gun and the sniper type has a sniper rifle

it is not necessary to assume he is desmond's son..he might distance relative of desmond....2nd/3rd cousin that shared same grandparent/great great grandparent..remember connor kenway have many children before he died and not just one child..maybe this ten year old boy come from different linage that link to connor other children.

the child would have desmonds memories from 2004/5 and before genetic-memories are passed down from parent to kin(daughters gain those from their mother and sons from the farther) but you can not gain that which comes after your conceivement

Whoa! Wait! Hold up. If Desman's son is a sage and 10-years-old during the time of Syndicate, does that mean that there can be multiple Sages during a single time period? Cause that mechanic in Black Flag was a sage, during a time when Desman's son was roughly 8-years-old, if I'm not mistaken.
