My uncle had one of these when I was a kid. The most ultimate bike ever made for the road - looks, sound, design. Absolute killer. I remember the sound of it when he’d fly by on the track, it was insane.

The comments complaining about not riding the bike for 2 years crack me up. The bike is worth about 60g for Christ sake, its not a fazer 600.
@richardprosser50267 жыл бұрын
Shane McRedmond yeah you learn to ignore the muppets on here. My answer is if you wanna give me 75 k for the bike then they can ride it every day come rain or shine. Also having spoken to a desmo rider who had just had his 7.5 k service at a cost of over 5 k I’ll keep mine at low mileage thanks very much.
@pufifa6 жыл бұрын
Sorry but what's the point of having it then? I mean if you spent 60grand for it, you got to have 5g's for the service as well? I'm not hating but If I sound like a muppet on here, then so be it. I squeezed that like and hope for more vids. Peace and good luck

So? Some modern full-size SUVs are worth much more than $60,000 off the lot. my car's an all-original classic that's probably worth at least $30,000 to the right person, such as a collector of unusual torque converters that can modify the pitch of the stator vanes for extra output at high RPM/limit crawl speed at low RPM (Seriously, GM, if you had ironed out the slushiness of the shifting, Variable Vane torque converters could've been really good and may have even come into the 21st century!) and transmissions that only had two forward gears, yet I still daily drive it. There's nothing wrong with driving an expensive bike more often, though I definitely understand not wanting some jealous, sisterfucking criminal to steal or deface your whip.
@Gautam4546 жыл бұрын

Just bought an 08 Desmo rr had gone up immensely in price but wow it's so much worth it, come with spare exhaust the sportier is what makes this sound. Thank you sir Richard Prosser for the advice I went back and got the spare exhaust that makes this rumble, other bike riders would follow me to my destination and take pictures, ask questions, and ask to rev the engine so they can record the sound which they say it's one of a kind, I myself not gonna lie I go in my garage turn it on just to hear it and it gives me smile. This exact video started it all.Thank you Richard Prosser. A very down to earth guy would respond to question immediately.

kingcrumpet very true words. but I have better bikes for road riding. the sound of this is awesome but suspension setup is track biased so not the most comfortable. also tyres seem like they are gonna be hard to get as apparently they've stopped making them. alternative is to buy new wheels at 3.5k. don't fancy that

Anyway I have a Yamaha wr250r and a Kawasaki zx6r, so there! 😂

Great to see Richard, at 50k this bike is still an absolute bargain, it would have cost Ducati much more to prove they can make such a machine for the road, remember you are so privileged to have owned and used this bike, out of all the billions of people in the world only 1500 were built and Roland sands fucked one of them up without thinking about it too long, enjoy it young man and your kids will have a pension out of out one day. all the best.
