A kickass original song. A veritable Spanglish tango of the despair and obsession that haunts me but which I am learning to resolve into meditative silence.
I apologize for the vocals being a bit off, but I was exhausted after fine-tuning the music for so long and when I tried to re-record some sections of the vocals, I messed up worse, so I figure this will have to do until I get a professional to mix the audio.
Also, some of the lyrics in Spanish might not seem to make sense, but that's on purpose; they are stream of consciousness-esque. YES I did make up some word and YES the accent on the wrong "i" in "dificíl" is on purpose because it's where I emphasize the word and it shows the difficulty of writing a song in a foreign language; the joke is that the singer doesn't even know where the accents go, he's out of place, lost. I combine humor and bizarre imagery, as is my fashion--most especially on "y tan sabroso como (¡un bonbon!)"--to produce a striking visceral effect (or so I hope), making the song as much about the sight and taste as it is about the sound. If you like it, post it on your Facebook! :)
(EDIT: while "dificíl" is on purpose, "pístola", is, indeed, a mistake. The accent isn't supposed to be there. My apologies.)
