My all time favourite game. I was 6 when it came out. I used to watch my brother playing it literally days and nights without a stop. Our mother became so infuriated with it, that she tried to throw away the keboard a few times:))) Then my brother left... I think i was around 11. At that that point he had finished it dozens of times and we loved it more each time. When i found myself alone in front of it, i was scared. How am i going to save Doc from the rainy mission? Or the civillian. How to overpower Sanchez? Sneak behind Carlos.... Oh man, some memories. Sure thing, i learned it and ve learned it good. I probably played it more than 50 times, i still have it and i still give it another go whenever i get a day or two. A part of it left with my brother and the reason i love it so much to this day is because those are the clearest memories i have with him. I was only a kid i don t remember much of the other things he used to do. Rest in peace, R!

If you fill the surveys, they even consider a desperados game that bridges between desperados III and desperados wanted dead or alive, so i rather have that imho. :) Besides desperados 1 got update 2 years ago to run on modern machines.

@@tr909love No, I did mean DS3, but I thought you might have meant Helldorado as I think DS3 definitely did not ruin the franchise imo. In fact, it's exactly the opposite, it resurrected a very dead franchise (Helldorado came out in 2009 and absolutely ended it) so I'm just curious as to why you think it was garbage when personally I found it pretty decent (though I agree it wasn't as brilliant as the original) and it was generally well liked and recieved by the community.

Please bring back desperados 1! New levels, remaster or something like that. Isometric games are not dead! We love D1 so much! 😍 D3 was good yes, but did not have the same charme like D1 back then. Edit: that diorama for D3 was freaking cool!

Desperados 3 missed the mark for me, I thought it was very mediocre because Desperados 1 got so much right - the first game I think holds up so much better than the 3rd one, with the characters, and their abilities, the enemy types having their own "personality"/class etc etc. The third one felt flat and barebones.

@@CODRD I think Desperados 3 is a decent step in the right direction for the genere, compared to how D2 felt over D1. I liked Shadow tactics in its own right, but when comparing D3 with D1 it feels D3 is the game where it was "made for an wider audience". I wish you could turn some ui elements off and be more spagetti western like the old one was. Heres to hoping we get one with more cinematic cutscenes :D

One of the best games I've ever played, it's a cherished part of my childhood memories. I remember my uncle buying this game for me and my big brother; we enjoyed it immensely. It's one of those things that bonds me and my uncle as best friends.

Desperados was one of those games that you kind of thought you were the only person who played and loved as a kid, (probably because we weren't all on youtube and forums talking about games) but then when the sequel comes out we all realise and remember it together. And the new game was actually very good, which happens all too rarely. (Except for the voodoo lady, personally I'm glad the original game didn't go the originally intended supernatural route, and I wish they'd continued with realism, but oh well.) Oh, I'm also very glad they didn't spend $1 million for Bon Jovi's horrible song, I don't think I would have played the game at all had I heard that in the intro. Noooooo thanks.

I'm big fan of Desperados WDOA, it is undoubtedly the best version of the franchise. Game is 10/10 in gameplay score, it was very very difficult for me playing it as a boy, but I love it. "Level 9" was the hardest part among all levels for me. It is a honor to actually see a producer telling us a story behind this masterpiece. I wish Those 6 levels would be released as an add on.

Desperados 3 grapic level is awsome but some is not up to mark because there is no intense sound when the alarm has been rang or tension rising. Which is much better on desperados 1.please consider it on next series if it come

In Desperados 1 (which takes place after Desperados 3), Sam does not know Doc yet. He meets Doc for the first time when he and Cooper free him. So it would not have made sense to have Sam in Desperados 3 without making things illogical.

a bit annoying and disappointing about D3 is that they changed to UI to a completely diffrent appearence then the original, a dumb i idea i hate this terrible design it does not suit the time period at all. wish they have just did a solid remake of the classic user interface. where characters where at bottom left side and character skills in top left corner. also the clothing of cooper should have been left as it was but improved. not much respect for wanted dead or alive here damn shame but gameplay is solid and fun

The game stops and comes to an end immediately if a civilian is killed in the crossfire, so - it's a worthless game, don't buy it. Who makes a gunslinger game that cashes out to the main menu if someone gets shot ? Wow... that's pointless. Scold the player, give them bad karma, but don't just end the game - geeze. Forgot to create a save before a battle ? Too bad, you just lost everything, start over from the very beginning. :-/ Nope. No good.

respect your opinion, but there is no need to kill any civilian because the characters are not a villains, outlaws, or serial killers. They are investigators of justice, so there is no need to kill any civilian or unarmed person. However, in D3 you can kill civilians to get what you want.
