played my first steel division 2 game today and I was scraping the barrel once it hit phase B, I was absolutely destroyed. My front didn't totally collapse, I had some allied support and managed to get some stuff in trees near the points, but it was an absolute failure on my part. I lost over 3 thousand men and killed a little over 1 thousand.

Also only 1 1/2 hours? Our record back in the day was almost 3 full hours of bleeding eachother dry. By the 2 hour mark the chat would be dead as everyone just stared at their screens but then the final desperate maneuvers would take place and those last 5-10 minutes would be the most fun I've ever had in SD2.

You should give warno (the cold war equivalent) a try. Its a lot of fun and personally I prefer it. I'm not sure how I feel about them increasing ttk moving forward but right now combat distance feels much larger, scouting feels more important, and vehicles feel so good (and varied).
