Most appointments in public offices is not based on meritocracy and experience. Politicians will push your appointment if only you are disposable. Have those amorphous people read Article 260 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, and the Political Parties Act, 2011? A referendum would have to be carried out to change the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) into a commission. It would be much easier to remove Ann Nderitu (an individual) just the way they successfully removed a sitting Attorney General who also enjoyed security of tenure, at that time.
