I don’t know much about Despia Darklord but I could tell he misplayed? Guess so. Or maybe he thought he could survive another turn leaving his board like that.

@@Atem A better choice would have been Aluber to get the Theater, a Field Spell fusion card. Fusion monster Despian Quaertis can, as a quick effect, make all non- fusion monsters, and fusion monsters below level 8, to have their attack points at 0 for the turn.

Fatal missplay. Not have field spell for fusion. If he use branded opening for aluber, aluber can get field spell for fusion to quaeritis or the first darklord
