I remember listening to this song over and over with him in my mind. A smile forming on my lips as I picture his face that I found so flawless, and hearing his voice that I found so sweet. I decided one day to learn this on the piano, as he had to leave for a very long trip one day. I worked day and night learning this, and eventually I managed to play it by heart. Before the day he left, it was late at night and he was sad, telling me that he didn't want to leave. With that, I began to play the piano, singing these lyrics to him. I couldn't finish however because I started to cry, and when it fell silent, I noticed that he too had been crying. We stayed in our own comfortable silence until he finally whispered the words "I love you" to me. That day has stuck to me for as long as I could remember. Unfortunately... we broke up a couple of months after, and he turned into someone I don't know anymore. Listening to this song, singing along with it as I tap my fingers against my desk like a piano, I can't help but sob, because this is the only good memory I'll ever have left of the man I loved, knowing that I forever lost him and can never get that wonderful person back...

My brother said that this song was about a break up but... Wtf, I don't think it is??? It's blatantly obvious by the lyrics, "If I had only felt how it feels to be yours, well I would've known." The story in this song is about a person that is saying that if they knew about the person that they are singing about, they would have answered life's only question: "What am I alive for?" "I've waited a hundred years." The speaker states that they have been waiting to answer the question, like most others. "I'd wait a million more for you." The speaker is saying that now that they know what they have been waiting for, they would wait even longer if they got their love by the end. (Which is honestly so sweet, that's literally beyond devotion.) The speaker always states that their significant others love is a turning page and that they would surrender their past self and mistakes. The turning page metaphor is simple, it means that their love encourages them to continue on and wait for what is left to come. A summary: "Turning Page" is a complex love song about a love that is so pure and special that the wait is worth it because it may mean that you get to be with the love of your life. - For anyone like my brother

This might be my favorite song ever,because pretty much I can completely relate to the speaker. In October 2017 I friend I had known for not very long had to move to Alabama,and I lived in Oklahoma. The night that she left,I had been trying to figure out how to still be able to scype but had no clue how to do it. I didn’t have here phone number. I didn’t have her new address so that I could talk to her through letters. I finally basically accepted that,I was never going to be able to talk to here in person,ever again. I had only known her since about September 2016 but she was basically a clone of me. She had the same personality,same interests,I had always acted funny and done funny stuff to become class clown,and she did too. Everytime I had lunch she sat next to me,every class she sat next to me,every time we were in art,music,or P.E. She had always atleast been in the same class. There were some of my friends I had known for nearly 7 years at that time,that still were not even close to the personality trates that I had. So sad that a friendship so amazing had not even lasted for 2 years. When you are having fun,time flys fast. I completely agree with that saying. She was the best friend I had ever had at that point. The day after,I had a spelling test to do,and I had thought about something,and I didn’t think it would even make sense to really do. But,I went with it anyway. I put right next to my name “For Itzel”. At that point I had usually been getting 85-90 type grades on spelling tests.kinda just average grades. But that day after putting that on there, I got a 105! That was the highest grade I had ever gotten on a spelling test back then! I couldn’t believe it! I will always remember that. The day before she was going to start packing up,I had thought of a good idea.i brought my phone with me,and when none of the teachers were looking,I yelled over to her “Itzel,Smile!” And I got the perfect picture. The day after,when my reading teacher wasn’t looking,I gave her the picture. I printed two pictures off of my mother’s printer. She was very happy. I was trying to get the most out of this friendship while it had enough time. I will never forget that photo. While I am writing this comment,the picture is right next to me. October 25,2017 the best friendship I had ever had,ended. To this day,some of my friends still tease me about it,because they thought that I liked her. If we had so much in common and if we WERE dating then I don’t think there would be any reason to not just tell you that we were.But I don’t really care. I love this song. I loved that friendship. Best time of my life.

On May 11th 2015, My Mother Passed from Jaundice, She tried Her best. She used to be an Alchoholic, But she changed into a person you could hug for a day straight. We gathered at the Oxford Crematorium On June 1st for Her funeral. As the curtains were closing. This played. I will never forget those precious Moments we would share together On 5 Bicster road. i remember laying in my room on my bed with my very first girlfriend months ago. we were bored and just started listening to random songs. i remember sitting up and grabbing my phone that we were playing songs off of and searching for this song. because i needed her to hear the song that made me think of her. that made me think of her smile, and her adorable laugh, and her mesmerizing hazel eyes that i always got lost in. i remember her joking about how determined i looked searching for this very song. once i had finally found it i told her to lay back down and listen to the song, and really focus on the lyrics. i lied back down telling her about how the lyrics in the song described how i felt about her. we both just stayed there in silence listening to this song, my heart beating insanely fast. but she needed to know how much i truly felt for her. and as i layed there i realized that i was in love with her, so deeply in love with her. no turning back. the song ended and i just blurted it out. *"i love you"*. i told her and all the emotion came out, and i told her how i never wanted to lose her, tears brimming my eyes at that point. tears began to fill in her eyes as well, making her gorgeous eyes glisten. she told me she felt the same. and we just sat there, crying and hugging. because we loved each other. and that's all we needed. just her and me. sadly though, i had to end the relationship a month ago, because it began to be toxic, and i no longer knew who she was. i had lost her, the girl who was my whole world, replaced by someone new. and i just wish i could get her back...
