I just came from the Hydra cover... i had never even heard of this band and this sounded great. Just looked up the original song and holy shit.. Glad I came across your channel. I will be blasting that shit for days.

Huge thanks man!! This song is from our album "Relics". Now we're working on something new and we just released a new single a month ago called "Venom", hope you like it too!

how can you play single strokes so fast :) i've been practising daily for almost a year (from zero), and within a few months I got to ~170bpm, and pretty much stayed there since (even though I tried - some days or weeks i can play faster, but then it goes away again). The only thing that "helped" was to learn doubles, which made it possible for me to play higher tempos (almost anything really), but playing fast with single strokes remains a mystery to me... maybe some people just don't have this "option". I can understand how hand speed builds -- it's pretty noticable even next day after practicing how you become faster and it becomes easier to play faster stuff / more endurance etc. But with feet this just doesn't happen. Nothing happens, I must say.
