Despite How Things Are... I'm Still Thankful to Have WoTC and You Guys, It's Thanksgiving After All

It's a time for thanks, even though the games not perfect we can still do that right? Todays video is to so appreciation for a game I've loved for 10+ years. Its not a perfect game, but there are things not to take for granted.

Glad I found your channel. I enjoy the commentary and thought process during gameplay. I'm not much a gamer having started pretty late in life, but I'm still thankful for the only game I play due to work and time commitments. Also thankful that this game isn't some fast twitch shooter and still allows an older player to enjoy it, even though it's moved away from the historical aspect that attracted me in the first place.

I really got to say that I can't believe I had found your channel just shy one or two months ago. I said it in a comment before, actually straight away in my first I believe, but I really like your tune, your commentary, your clear sense of great gameplay, helpful tips, editing and sincerity. It’s nice to hear someone talk about some of the good changes for once. We’re all frustrated with how this game that we love has been going but there has been some good changes this year. The Vigilante has definitely overshadowed the good things but it almost certainly will be reworked in some form due to how it’s completely ruining high tier games smh. Great video though 🫡

I have not played a single battle in Modern Armor mode. Excepted for testing the tanks before they were released, when I was an ST. As I stand today, I will probably never play that mode.

Well, here in Germany we don't have Thanksgiving, but I'm grateful that I found a streamer who (almost) always streams at a certain time. One who is nice and always says what he likes and doesn't like in the game and I think it's a shame that you're no longer a CC. This game could be so much better and I'm glad that I found a streamer who says it out loud. Keep up the good work with your videos and streams Cone! Oh and... About the commander when he's not in the tank: I can't understand why there are players who want to drive without a commander, but when the answer is that it would frustrate them if they always got a message when a commander was missing, I say: BUILD AN OPTION TO SWITCH IT ON AND OFF - by the way, that applies to so many functions that they don't want to include, e.g. whether you want to have a server selection when starting the game. Nerfing Premium vehicles should always remain a taboo; when I was an ST; once you have sold a vehicle for money, you should no longer alter its parameters, unless it is an older issue, and it needs to be adjusted to fit in the modern battlefield. In my opinion, they should siimply remove the Vigilante from the game, and reimburse all the players that have purchased it. No nerfing. Just take the losses because that tank should have never been released as is.

@@JustaCone I am going to give you my rationale, and you can contradict me with yours; This tank has been purchased by players based on its parameters at the time of its release. Any nerfing will create a preceeding. As far as I remember, this would be the only Premium tank nerfed shortly after it was released. My solution is probably drastic, and I am very aware of how much it cost to develop a tank. But at least, nobody will feel spoiled because everyone will get the same treatment. You do not want the players to lose confidence. If they nerf this Premium tank, then it could happen again, so loss of trust. The only way they can deal with this oversight, is to remove the tank, reimburse all those who have purchased it, modify it, and then release it again. In this way, it gives a chance to the players to decide if they want to buy it again. There is no other way to fix it in a clean way. I must also tell you that I am very surprised that this could have happened. When I was an ST, we had those discussions with MaxChaos24; why it was important to have Premium tanks properly balance right from the getgo. Because they could not be modified afterwards. We had a long discussion about the Panzer V/IV; Rob (MaxChaos24) asked all the ST their opinion about reducing its hit points pool. We all answered at the time, that it should stay as released, for the reason invoked above in my narrative. What is your rationale? what would you do? introduced the "cool down" period as in Cold War? what would you propose to the players that would not accept the change, but still want to keep the tank?

My rationale is that your dollar spent shouldn't override the fairness of the game and prevent a tank from being properly balanced if released imbalanced. I'd rather the tank be nerfed and kept in the game rather than removed too because content is content. The identity and feel of the tank can still persist past a nerf and I would buy tanks for that identity not its power. The only refunds that should be handed out are if the identity of a tank is changed. For instance, although this would probably never happen, if this Vigilante were given a regular 390 alpha single shot gun and its rotary autocannon was removed. That I would say is refund worthy as the identity of the tank was changed. Another example would be if the pref tanks had their pref removed. We've buffed the FCM 50T and no refunds were handed out for a buff of course... we're fine with the stats changing in a positive way for the tank but we bring up the idea that if the tank is negatively affected cause it was too strong then people need their gold back?.. that's absurd to me. But IF the FCM 50 T had its pref removed because of the buff, or if they made the game +1/-1 and then removed pref tanks, then those tanks should be eligible for refunds. As for losing players confidence in their purchases with nerfs, that's just not the case. If a premium tank is nerfed because its too powerful that increases my confidence in WG to make a better game. If the reason you bought the tank was because it was OP then you should know that its also open to a nerf... no refund necessary. You took that risk. Also, If they nerf the tank and provide refunds I won't complain. Just to clarify I'm not against the refunds if they chose to do so, what I'm against is the idea that they shouldn't nerf premiums or if they do they HAVE to give out refunds. They shouldn't be afraid to nerf premiums just because people bought them with money. Its a game after all, that should prioritize fairness and fun over rewarding the paying customer with too much power over their fellow player. Also no, the Armadillo was nerfed shortly after its release and was refundable to those that wanted the refund, so this would not be the first time. As for the idea of removing the tank, reimbursing everyone who bought it, then reintroducing it in a nerfed state and giving players the choice to buy it again... I don't see why that would be necessary over just nerfing it and providing a refund. Those that are fine with the nerf keep the tank, those that want their gold back go and get a refund, that way you skip the unnecessary removal of the tank part. I've provided my ideas for a nerf in my review and this response is already long enough. WG should nerf this tank, and its up to them if they want to provide a refund. I'd keep the tank (I know it was gifted to me but I would never ask for a refund in the first place for any tank I'd purchase first of all but that's just me) I personally don't think they need to unless its identity changes. And NO, 4800 damage in 4 seconds is not its identity it's its power. The identity is a light tank with a brrtt cannon. The damage can be changed and the identity stays the same. Like the shovel on the AVRE, I've seen suggestions to remove the shovel but I wouldn't because that would change its identity from a frontal spaced armored derp gun to one without. You see?

Well then ppl r going to reply to this and mind everyone I don’t care. I am thankful for that T249 it took boredom out of the game for a little while. I got to use it when the game frustrates me and it’s just like when we would platoon up in the T3 Pz-1c German tank and would run around and just go crazy until the community cried about it and they reduce platoon size. This T10 tank is just fun to use every now and the a run around and play. So stop loosing your shite over it if they make it 1 per platoon and 2 per team in a month the ppl will not play it that often. So instead of crying over another tank like everyone does everytime try this next year just to be thankful you’re above ground because trust me everyday I am thankful for that. Because according to the doctors I am past my expiration date which was on Oct 5 of this yr I wasn’t suppose to live past this age I am 54 and 3 yrs ago they said I wouldn’t make it to 54. So ppl just be thankful you’re breathing Gods air I am everyday

Seeing stats and hear our other people's opinion on a subject certainly can give you an insight bit not playing it for yourself doesn't give you an personal experience and game sense and personal opinion, you will just agree or disagree on already existing opinion that someone else has.
