Yes every window is different but by explaining what line you are drawing sure would help. And to answer others questions...a T square can be purchased at any hardware store

Being from a working class background I have long dreamed of having beautiful formal curtains and saved up to finally buy the very pricey velvet and highend vintage brocade tapestry with a damask pattern ..I then went to purchase fringe and braides gimp with tassels and almost had a heart attack at the 30 dollar a yard price tag .....but the fringe and tassel gods smiled upon me (LOL) and sent me a gift of an old lady with 60 yards of very beautiful beaded fringe as well ass tassel fringe with matching large tie backs who was willing to part with the entire lot for 50 bucks .Your videos are helping me sooo much now that I am attempting to make my curtains with fringe swag valances.It is very noble for you to share your skills and talents so that even those of us with a meager budget can enjoy Fancy curtains !

Quando ho fatto 2 anni fa non mi tengo le misure e le misurazioni differisce per tutte le finestre. Ma, come una guida approssimativa, pensare alla profondità desiderata per la lunghezza finale quindi aggiungere 1 e 1/2 più tempo quindi consentire tessuto extra per il tuo palo e per le emozioni. E grazie per guardare i miei video. When I made it 2 years ago I did not keep the measurements and the measurements differs for all windows. But as a rough guide, think of the depth you want for your finish length then add 1 and 1/2 time more then allow extra fabric for your pole and for the thrills. And thank you for watching my videos.

Everybody's windows are different sizes, that's why I don't give the measurements because this size may not fit your window.

The ruler's I am using in the video, I got from Merrick & Day, and they are not call Valance Ruler. One is a meter ruler once known as a yard stick and the other is a right angle ruler. Thank you for watching.
