In real space this is how it would be. No sound. So interesting how Star Trek would really be if they followed true space for exterior scenes. A well done good job.

Love the "USS Surprise" :D

@ Since the story is basically "Starfleet: Bear Patrol", I didn't want to give such a boring job to Sulu's Excelsior. But I did want it to be an early ship in the class, with a name that was on the "Excelsior" theme. Somehow I got to "Surprise", and obviously there wasn't going to be anything better than that. NCC-1805 wouldn't make sense an Excelsior class, but I think NCC-1805-A works.

Beautifully done. Just wish you had sound effects. Actually.. dose..look like a collection of Jamaican giant spliffs..from very limited descriptions I've been given. Wundering where they got so many from. Now what do you do with them.?😊❤

@@scottbraun2457 It started as me just goofing around in blender, but I think it turned out well enough that I am definitely planning to go back and add sound.

@chris-s4170 awesome.! Too bad we never did get an origin story for the nasty beast. Then again. We never got one for the borg either. Also..no sound is technically accurate because of no sound in outer space..but...how many sci-fi shows fallow that rule really. Again awesome show..however..it's "easily" fixed..with an observer's prospective and "radio chatter".. from fleet commanders and shipAIs cowardinating maneuvers. Hopefully I haven't overstepped. Looking forward to the continued adventures of headless spacefish hunters..(it's what it looks like to little me watching it when it first was on TV 30 or 40 years ago).

I was honestly worried that a few of these shots looked a bit too much like little swimmers, so space weeds works.

Ooo the TOS and TMP takes on the Shepard class are really good-looking. Wonder how it'd look in an Enterprise-era aesthetic, it's a good design.
@chris-s41705 күн бұрын
Saucer+Plane is such a great configuration, and it's a shame that the Shepard has only been used as a throwaway in the Discovery pilot. I wish they'd give us one in SNW. I am planning on playing around with the NX-refit, and maybe I'll try to kitbash an NX-Shepard too.

Daaaaang! This is good. Though I shudder at a universe where there are several Doomsday Machines.

And starfleet is putting them all together in one place, which probably seems like a good short-term solution. But starfleet aren't always right.

@@chris-s4170 I'd warp them into the star of some remote solar system devoid of all organic life. If the star goes nova, no harm done. 🙂

Okay, so the drive section flies the doomsday machine away, like a kidnapping, ( letting the Ambassador escape the tractor beam? ), then doomsday machine ends up in doomsday machine collection yard? And some inhibitor-tech is on it, where each machine cannot run off and cause trouble? How is the Akira in pieces, able to still function?

I like the gimmick, but the DD machine, but it's "miles long." Starfleet of that era isn't shown to have anything that can generate a warp field for something that size. At that time, the nacelles appear to take of about a third of the space/volume of the material they're warping. Still, it's a great gimmick. Would've been great to see an episode where an annoying bellicose ship is involuntarily removed from a would-be battle space like a hissing cat. Would've been a great humiliation for a Klingon crew.

@@deadlynytshayd2220 I think itt's just a matter of rerouting the primary power feed through the odn relays to create a static graviton field bypassed to the starboard power coupling.
@deadlynytshayd22204 сағат бұрын
rerouting the primary power feed through the ODN (Optical Data Network) relays wouldn't typically generate a static graviton field, as ODN relays are primarily responsible for data transmission rather than power distribution.

Easier to just strap a breeched warp core onto a transphasic torpedo.
