Hi. From Taiwan, via the USA. The fire that wiped out Lahaina in Hawaii last year took out all things not blue, and a giant house with a red roof also survived. It's thought that lasers were the cause of the fires, which is completely feasible though who can prove such a thing? At any rate, blue and red roof tops may have their roots in this idea that laser warfare is inevitable and the colored tops will save from destruction.

I think the reason why there are either blue roof or red is probably because they hired the same builder. I think it's pretty common to see a house owner making recommendation to others and this could go on and on.

A kind reminder: Don't recharge too little money in advance each time for charging the car, because each charging contains service fees, which is a fixed cost. Good way to save some money, but if you don’t care a few coins wasted that is fine. Have a safe trip❤

Jake, if you want to go to the villages you need to drive on 国道 or national highway like G 318, not the expressway. the national highway will lead you to 省道 Provincial Highway like S 212, then you can branch off to 县道 ， 乡道 ， 村道 village road. it will save you a lot of money on tolls.

Thanks for the advice, I'll take those on the way back. I wasn't really thinking when I put the destinations into gaode that I should've turned off toll roads, but I've quickly come to realise that these tolls add up super fast!

I am a native of rural Changsha.It's also from the blue roof in the videoThere is no other reason why the roofs of our hometown are all blue or red.It's just plain beautiful.Ten years ago, all rooms were black.thenThat's really ugly.I know that in America, blue and red may represent Democrats and Republicans.

dude you are crazy, driving 1200km without navigation from Changsha to Chengdu. I am not judging you but the highway is updating so fast once you miss an exit it may cost 1-2 hrs more to get back on the correct direction.
