You could do some swapping of the mods with hunter for extra super. Instead of taking charge, use elemental charge, and elemental shards instead of melee wellmaker. Finally, swap charged up with font of wisdom. I think it'll work a bit better with aegrs scepter, because of the passive super gain from font of wisdom.

Thermoclastic blooming makes a stasis hunter have unlimited shurikens and 15-20 second supers. 5x charged with energy converter doesnt work as good as this setup, since your super is faster than your grenade reload.

Something I noticed, Knockout procs Melee Wellmaker on first kill. So lets say you've already used your charged melee, if you get knockout with your weapon, then melee something, you'll get ANOTHER arc well, which also still gets affected with the more melee energy for arc wells mod

Currently Running Necrotics, Monte with the WMC engine. Yes it got nerfed, but once I spawn it, all enemies near me deal less damage and if I pick it up, I get free Melee energy and if I break it, it takes a chunk off the enemies health which will guarantees that my melee cascade works in even higher tier content!

*update* I did a bit more research on WMC mods and there is a mod called "Light from Darkness" where kills from wpn/abilities near WMCs charge you. Its a 5 energy void mod. Pair that with Protective Light, and now you take reduced dmg when critical! With all those explosions going of, thats %100 uptime on CwL!

A great setup that I've been using similar to your hunter is instead of using Star-Eater Scales, put on Assassin's Cowl. Every time you get a powered melee kill, which you will have a lot of, or a finisher kill, you become invisible and get a bump to your health and shields. It's awesome for survivability if that's more your thing.

Please note, the Kickstart mods do not work if the ability has 2 charges, like shurican does. It doesn't work because it only triggers when the ability is fully expended, which doesn't happen when it has 2 charges. You could do grenade kickstart and it would be fine, or I think what might be better is solar gauntlets for impact induction (reduces grenade cooldown when causing melee damage).

We need to actually make builds and have real OP weapons and builds also they need to get rid of catalyst and just give us the FULL exotic when we find it getting the gun and then having to do nonsense to get the catalyst and then more nonsense to actually put the catalyst on our exotic is dumb and pointless. I want to say Energy Converter doesn't give you 50% energy back, what it does it give you approximately 30% with 5 stacks but only if your super is below 50%. This means if you have 40% you won't have 90% you get only 10% (and yes I have tested it myself too). I think Well of Potency would be better

I'm not sure if this is a fact, but thermoclastic blooming wasn't working with necrotic grips for me. I think the poison dot wasn't counting as a melee kill/solar melee kill so there were no orbs being generated. Fellwinters and winters gile were working just fine though.

I’m thinking the coding to the solor explosion spread ability they added to bottom tree dawn is directly tied to the solor melee by accident since the perk effect was expanded from the original melee ability. Thus the coding ties itself back to the melee ability even tho it’s being triggered by a grenade.
