This dungeon suffers from what a lot of other really good raids and dungeons do. Farmability. My team beat contest then decided to go to normal and complete the quest which made us replay the beginning 2/3 of the dungeon 3 separate times. We realized pretty quickly that most if not all of the encounters after the first encounter are lengthy and pretty tedious. It's not a dungeon where you can bring what you like and be fine. A trend I noticed with raids and dungeons is that the worse it is, the more fun it is to farm over and over again and the better it is, the worse it is to farm over and over again.

@@bluejayriot It's when you enter airlock, I think. Usually Vesper AI says "BrayTech scan failed. Your gear is our of order." With Outbreak equipped, it says "You're contaminated with banned technology. Security will be alerted. Be more careful, alright?"

Non-contest mode isn’t bad. It’s like the third encounter of Deep Stone mixed with Season of the Seraph mission. Mechanic heavy, but not complicated. Once you figure it out it’s like oh….ok got it.

Something my team found out while running it during the fight with Atraks after damage if one of your fireteam stays inside the elevator thing you jump down to start the encounter in the first place, nothing happens so if someone needs to go for a minute for whatever reason they can and they won’t be deadweight constantly dying

Atraks got her hands on braytech stuff and killed one of spiders gals, so he send us there to fuck her up. The space station is an exo research place

old human station that seemingly worked on something with exo production (lore tab explicitly mentions that the station scientists were working with LOTS OF WEIRD LIQUIDS) and once the humans were mysteriously gone; the fallen had taken over it... the lore tabs are actually from their perspective as their crew are slowly missing one by one until one day the fallen who we are following in the lore tabs notices that everyone is missing and eventually sees some fallen with weird lights behind their eyes (fallen eyes are fueled by the ether but these fallen eyes were not) and so the last fallen is taken and its revealed that its some kind of hivemind... and that giant "anomaly" you see in the skybox is some portal... the orange energy is supposed to be arc energy however its not supposed to be orange so something is very very wrong and the fallen once they got taken over built that anomaly. we actually dont know much lore wise besides the obvious connection to darkness (orange seems to be a consistently used color to denote darkness) AND that that portal the corrupted fallen built leads to somewhere that we cant really understand; that was its literal description... "incomprehensible". For the most part; it has obvious connections to bray tech but clarity control and darkness were what was mainly needed to make exos so its really weird that there is some mysterious and weird liquids involved on the station; also want to point that no where on the dungeon (that i know of so far) can you find a human body... maybe an exo and obviously fallen but never a human body.

I thought Contest mode was almost perfect, just... The timer for the first encounter is so damn tight, +30-60 more seconds would be enough to make it more pleasant, but still only let good teams through I mean, almost every team I see manages the encounter with only 0-10 seconds left, which even includes the big pros But otherwise it was pretty perfect, hope the next dungeon gets contest too

As a sweatlord hunter who beat contest, the final boss can suck the dirtiest part of my nutsack. The Arena is terrible, the amount of Clones sucks, and dps is horrible with half the place being lightning randomly, and it's so quiet you have to legit stare at the ground to see it. Would be a 8/10 dungeon, but final boss knocks it down to a 6

Even on normal mode the bosses are just snooze-fests. I’m sick of these “dungeon key” dungeons having insane health. I don’t even want to attempt a solo, let alone a solo flawless, of any of these dungeons.

These bosses have 7-10 million less health than current raid bosses man, I two phased the servitor on contest. We are so strong that this complaint is void if you are actually trying to do good damage.

Aside from this one, the only other dungeon remotely difficult to solo flawless is ghosts. But even then that’s more tedious and long than actually difficult. I’m sure new builds and weapons that work well for vesper’s will be discovered

Idk man, wardcliff / grand overture let you three-phase both bosses on any class, and I wouldn’t exactly consider exploder shanks and radiation puppets to be a “snoozefest.”

Seeing as all the enemies are puppets to a single hivemind, statistically speaking at least one of them is probably trans, which then makes the whole hivemind trans by the distributive property

@@erikm8373 i dont think fallen do that since ive never heard of it in lore also vex dont denote themselves as anything but vex so i mean if we go by vex rules there is no identification with one individual's traits ; the hivemind from what we could tell seems to think of itself as a "thing" rather than any individual; maybe you can call it TRANSdimensional since it seems the hivemind may have been an extension of some entity beyond the anomaly
