Destiny 2: Dealing Nearly 5 Million Damage With Song of Flame and Legend of Acrius

This is about as good as I'm gonna get using this DPS strat. I may have been able to squeeze in a Mtop shot at the end if i didn't accidentally use 2 arcane needles making it that much closer to 5. Farming for Transcendence sucks lol. DIM link dim.gg/zbk6ywq/Acrius2

This will be the last time I upload using this DPS strat. 5 million could be possible if done by a better player. The important fragments used here are Facet of Dominance for weaken, Courage for 10% more light damage, Ruin for extra Shatter damage, Dawn for radiant melee out of super and Command for an auto reload. I do think its important to note that there is an arc surge active that boosts acrius damage by 25%. acrius here makes up for around 90% of the damage, so the damage actually comes out to around 4.2m. still excellent though, and definitely a contender for the top warlock damage rotation possible for us right now despite missing out on the 25% surge

All surges are 'active' here. I did this the day Bungie made the surge changes. There's no reason to do any math for this anymore

You could do either. The last fragment that I use that isn't relevant for the dps phase is Facet of Purpose so I get restoration when picking up orbs. You could also just replace an arc surge for recuperation.

This is only good for the first boss unfortunately. The other 2 are pretty situational. Like the ogre's gonna need to walk up to you and this only works on the first 2 floors of the final boss

Better is subjective as it depends on if it's even possible to use it on a boss. For reference I've done and seen a lot of damage tests and the high end for an optimal rocket or grenade launcher rotation hits without a debuff is 3.8 mil. This video had a weaken grenade active for a bit under half of dps, so if you take the damage increase from the debuff out to get a fair comparison then this strat is doing around 4.6 mil, easily higher than anything an edge transit or apex predator rotation can do. In a team setting where you can have a 30% debuff this build hits almost 6 mil, which is absolutely disgusting. The downside with this build is there are very few bosses that have an easy way to set up point blank for damage. But, for the ones it does work on, it's insane

Not entirely unless you can keep syntho's or combination blow up. I'm taking advantage of Star Eater's boost to my melee which also boosts the ignitions' damage. Which is also boosted by some fragments. Acrius is doing roughly 3-3.5 million.

I would say try SoF with star eater and two tailed fox with the fragment that reloads your guns when you suppress a target the void rocket from two tailed fox suppresses so it auto loads itself everytime you shoot

Facet of Command was nerfed unfortunately. It now has an 11 second cooldown. I did upload a video using it on titan before the nerf

Depends on enemy type. Tormentors especially and subjugators take massively reduced body shot damage.
