Word of warning to my fellow raiders, there is a high risk of activating the symbol in the totem encounter with splash damage, so if you don't need that symbol, make sure it is turned off after the encounter is over. I learned this lesson the hard way! 😆

Also symbols 1 and 2 are bugged if you load in and those are what you have just leave to orbit and reset did 3 runs in a row with it not working after we did this we havnt had any issues since

For anyone still having issues spawning the red border chest symbols 1 and 2 are bugged if you load in and have either of those just leave to orbit and try again after doing multiple runs yesterday this was the only way we did not have any issues anytime we had symbols 1 and 2 or both the chest never spawned

@@XnRz if you’ve already completed the opening you’d have to delete your cp before you load back in. But you can check the codes without ever starting the opening it’s much easier to do that

We shot the Golgoroth rune thats in the little cave at the front of his pit after the encounter was finished and we still didnt get the extra chest, so something is definitely up with the runes. The other 2 were at the 1st secret chest and at the end in Oryx's room. No message on shooting the last rune, which left us all really confused (and saddened).

Mainly because he is. Hey, people keep hittin me with the 'Movie Theater' analogy. And everyone uses L1 R1 callouts (even the 'front') people, where L1 & R1 are closest to rally flag? And yet at a movie theater, the Rows numbered '1' are where? Checkmate.

@@FalloutPlays Except that L1, R1 has nothing to do with front or back. It's close and far. L1 is first left from entrance and similarly R1 is first right. Although I prefer reading L1 R1 callouts like a book they both work fine. The front of the room is what I would consider to be the end goal or what you spend the most time looking at. Also raids have historically been linear which makes the end goal definition much simpler. Front is always forward and back is always behind. Edit: also movie theaters have walkways that lead you to the front row before letting you in (usually) and as such the first row is the one you see first and is also closest to the screen.

Ah but the movie theatre and classroom analogies are great examples of rooms defined by spectacle and the direction of attention, the entrance for both types of room doesn’t matter because everything else is facing that way which makes it the front of the room. It can be closest to the entrance but not necessarily. Attention is first brought to where he spawns, then it is where his position resets to and is also where you most likely get information on his post DPS 50/50 also becoming where he ends up for final stand. It simply is just the front of the room.

@@FalloutPlays I just look at my playstation controller- L1 R1 is close to us, where rally flag is and L2 R2 are close to Oryx. Pretty obvious. VoG was front left back left etc, why have the rules changed with Oryx? Front is close to rally flag and back is close to Oryx.

Fawout! Viping on any encounter after activating a symbol resets ALL the symbols. You can bypass this. Keep restarting the raid and check under the portal until you get a combination of 123 or 6789 since these are before and after any encounters with vipe zones and if you activated all 3 it unlocks the chest for good for that raid instance.

This is straight up wrong. We activated the glyph at warpriest once at the beginning, then wiped 3 times, never after activated the glyph again, and still got the chest at the end. Someone in your team is shooting the wrong glyph.

@@dannyboi7877 3 of us veryfied the glyphs at the beginning and every symbol was shot by me in multiple raids and i was the last to leave each area after checking them and the chest did not work for us. There must be a bug associated with wiping and you just got lucky judging by the amount of other people reporting the same problem

Not true at all. Wiped plenty and had beginning symbol and 2 towards the end and still got chest. Someone most likely accidentally shot totems or golgoroth symbols on your team.

Let's not forget that the runes can also deactivate in the two spots prior to totems, example: my group had the first symbol and two after Golgi, but we had wiped once on totems, then after shooting the last two symbols, the text didn't appear.

They don't deactivate, someone just shot the totem encounter one by mistake. It's in a stupid spot.

Side note for hidden chest #1, near the exit there are 2 platforms to stand on to keep the doors open while you allow fellow platform bros (or sis) throught the door to get the hidden chest too

This 4th chest is essentially like the Red Chest from Vow, exactly the same mechanics to it too, turning on 3 symbols to spawn a red Border weapon chest. I’m assuming it’s also 1 per account per week and not 1 per character just like Vow’s. Regardless more loot is always welcomed
