Straw poll link: strawpoll.com/BDyNzNWJOyR I didn’t want to put a wall of text at the beginning, so I’m putting it here instead. * Why did I make this video in the style of a slideshow? - 2 Reasons: (1) The time it would take to get footage would’ve taken way too long, There’s 125 exotics it would’ve taken 6+ hours to get footage. (2) Video length, a weapon segment would probably be 20-30 seconds which is 4-6x the videos current length. That seems a bit too much to me. * So Data is a bit odd because of how the strawpoll is set up. The highest percent an exotic could get is 10% since everyone got 10 votes. So, for example, an exotic with 2% means it got 2% of all votes but 2 out of 10 people picked it. If I need to add anything else I will, this is just what I wanted to add.

Picture this, a submachine gun that releases slowing tendrils on its left and right underbarrel, multiple crits on enemies hit by the slow gives the smg's actual bullets slowing rounds. In pvp, these qualities get enabled after 2 kills straight and then expire upon inflicting slow on 2 separate enemies. Freezing an enemy extends the duration of the slowing rounds and refunds ammo to the magazine. Catalyst, pve - Frozen enemies can be shattered, but will remain in a still state afterwards, releasing slowing tendrils in all directions to 3 other targets.

@@Gildedbolt okay, so here we go (DIM link at the end) This build is centered around Heat Rises, Felwinters Helm and the Snap melee. everything else in the kit is about your own preference, but I prefer pheonix dive and ember of mercy build so that I can have resto on demand when you don't have a healing grenade. This build also need a little bit of learning, so it wont be as easy to get into as one might think. Let's first talk about the Snap. It can scorch but also ignite, especially on high health targets this is quite useful as the ignition triggers the debuff of Felwinter if it gets a kill, which is really easy. Bastions perk also activated with the scorch after you have done the melee and ignition, so you don't even need to have it out all the time to get the exotic perk going, just get it out after the snap. Next is Heat Rises. This is less used for the actual thing and more about the melee regeneration while airborn since it is actually fucking broken. you don't need to double jump, just not being on the ground is enough, so once you got into it, you can just bunny hop when you kill something and get 1/4 of your melee back. On mods it's also preference, I just advise to run melee centered perks and maybe the perk on arms that you generate grenade or class ability on melee damage. Melee kickstart is often not needed and sometimes just takes away your armor charge. If you decide to play with Firesprites, the mod Elemental Charge on the boots are a great way to get some armor charges too. Now to the whole playstyle. Heat Rises gives melee on any kill while airborn, including melee. So what I often do is I jump twice to get off the ground a bit (but not too much, you want forward momentum) and then snap at the enemies. of done right at least one should ignite. If it is a big fella you can pull out bastion and anihilate him then, if not the a primary should be good if they aren't already dead. What you will notice is that they cannot shoot you anymore, leaving you to not only deal 30% extra damage but also have a moment to breathe. This is the time in between. Since I would advice against spamming the melee as often as you can since you can time it better and use weapons in between, this time you can basically do what you want. If you do not have your melee back yet, go get it with a few kills, then proceed to debuff them again if it runs out. In short: 1. melee while airborn, 2. Kill big targets 3. Focus on getting your melee back (optional and maybe already in step 2) One funny interaction is also the scorch. Since both the scorch and ignition from the melee can also trigger the Helm effect when killing something, there is some funny interactions with it. You can basically extend the scorch, and if your melee is the first to apply scorch stacks you can use any other scorch source to ignite and it will still have the Helms effect (as long as the scorch never went away) Another interaction with Bastion is the second part of the perk, it being basically one-two-punch. You could throw a melee, charge at a big enemy, then melee it with more damage which also increases you ignition damage from the melee. This melee is insanely strong as is, but with a damage buff and debuff on demand is just game breaking. One last thing I would like to mention is healing. This build has insane survivability if you play more agressive (hence why it is my go to speedrun build). You could have a healing grenade and dive as well as well, but you could consume this healing grenade for Cure x2 (?) and heat rises. When you have heat rises you can dive for restoration. What I like to do is consume the grenade, melee then dive immedietly after and see the ads die and my resto x2 extend (ember of Empyrian). I also like to run this with dash, since it just enables you to far better move with wellskates and Touch of Flame is not needed as you can get resto x2 easily and the solar buddy is kind of out of place here as it can steal your kills. TL;DR: Super agressive build with melees while airborn to power a weapon with insane damage with a 30% to enemies and making them unable to fight back. Its so funny to see people putting vexcalibur so low, but i see people RAGING whenever I use it in PvP (I killed a man like 5 times with a glaive once and got death threats. Another time in a private match I was yelled at to "Stop using glaives theyre OP" like hello? Glaives are incredibly weak in pvp, hell one time I jumped a guy, and he spent the rest of the match chasing me around, and everytime he managed to kill me would tbag me.)

Hey fellow vexcalibur user! For the true sandbag experience pair it with arbor warden on a void titan set up with the bastion aspect!(Throw the barricade on top of an enemy and leverage the boosted melee damage with the chip from barricade contact damage for some hilarious cheese)
