Destiny 2: Final Shape DLC appears to be delayed! An email from Pete Parson, Bungie's CEO, was leaked stating Final Shape would be delayed until 2024. and Marathon 2025!

Honestly I was kind of hoping they would take extra time. Obviously it sucks we have to wait but this expansion really needs to top everything or at least be at Witch Queen's level. We cannot have a repeat of a rushed Lightfall.

On the one hand I feel for the ex employees and the players who are going to be burning out during the content drought that's no doubt on it's way. On the other with this delay I might be able to afford it by the time it comes out.

While the delay can be a good thing. #1 Bungie only knows how to kick itself when its already down. #2 I hope that it doesn't launch near FFXIV's next expansion or else I won't be playing it until mid July.

I can't stand how people are overreacting about this. I think this is a good thing because it gives them time to polish the dlc and make it better. Witch Queen was delayed just as long and was incredible. I think overall this is gonna help The Final Shape more than hurt it. I'd rather have a delayed dlc that's good than a on time dlc that's bad or mid. My heart goes out to all that got laid off.
