At this point, he was voiced by Nolan North. Nathan Fillion was no longer cast as the voice for Cayde-6 due to other filming arrangements he had, and presumably due to financial reasons as well.

@@jakman8515 Because it made the game more exciting, it gave that tension that every shot count because you don’t know if you will get your next ammo resupply.

I agree to a degree but at the time bows and sidearms were nigh unusable because they didn’t have enough ammo. It makes them very strong with infinite ammo though. It’s a double edged sword. There are benefits to both
