you can use it for up to a year. if you have terrible armour during that time you should probably get some. otherwise you don't really need to worry about it

Good thing is that purchasing an exotic class item from Eva during the halloween event will unlock it for those who haven't done dual destiny. Just can't target farm it without completing the mission

Just get the hunter armor, maybe the titan armor if you're doing pvp. They really should just implement a way to convert legendary armor into artifice armor. I don't care if it's going to cost like 2 legendary shards and 1 exotic chiper, just make it so that we can turn our existing high stat armor into artifice instead of braindead farming master dungeons in the hope of getting a single usable armor at the end of the day. At the very least let us turn our legendary class item into artifice.

the legendary class item is the easiest to get, if you can't be bothered to get even that, there is no need for you to get artifice

also master dungeons don't even drop low stats that often. only the shit ones (I forgot which ones have higher avg stat totals). the better ones drop around 63-64 which becomes a total of 66-67 with the +3. not the best but it's still an exaggeration that it is awful

there is an additional slot on top of the +5 or +10 that you can do, allows you to put +3 into any stat as well, pretty useful for maximizing stats

With all 3 Xur buffs getting 8 SC a strike, taking 10 minutes a strike, it would take a 2 + hour grind to get each piece. 4 + hour grind for those without the Xur buffs. NO NO NO NO

Artifice has a 3 bonus stat that you can assign wherever you want, but that's it. If you have a higher stat gear than you don't need it

It has to do with stat spreads artifice armor is the only way to achieve triple or quadruple 100 stats. I used to be the same and not really understand why artifice was something to chase.
