Great Destiny lore video. You certainly know your stuff. Interesting angle between the new character and the stranger. maybe is just me but i can see some similarities in the clothing style design of the stranger and the bag design, colours, angular shapes, etc. Didn't she say, she was not born in light?. She did give me the impression of working with a resistance style group when she first appeared. Anyway... your work is very much appreciated. Thank you.

I would love to see the exo stranger to tie both stories together. Maybe this time the narration will be both explicit and hidden inside grimoire cards (that can be checked inside the game). Also I REALLY hope that all the gameplay experiments that they did for 3 years bring us a complete and intricate progression system, that will NOT constantly change.

Averatix They already said that all characters gotten to level 20 in destiny 1 can have their appearance transferred so they can 'keep their character' in a way so no it isnt a prequel. Also the cabal have never outright attacked Earth.

Instead of Hawthorne, I prefer to think that we will rely on a questline from Efrideet, who comes back to Felwinter Peak in Lords of Iron and then mentions repeatedly that her friends outside of the Iron Banner have found other ways to make war. Just my .02

Its unlikely - he is one of 3 or 4 big AI's. One of them was SIVA. So whats left can be either hostile, destroyed, sleeping or gone somewhere. There may be and option that to gain new powers we may need to interact whit one of AI's in some way.

Naa this is just a narrative thing, it won't impact gameplay like that. The Cabal just realise that in order to truly fight the Guardians, they need to combat what enables them to come back - effectively. In the game it'll just be the reason we lost our powers.

Reid Smith evidence: what if the bottom of the traveler was normal before, but because the cabal damaged it, that's why in destiny the bottom is broken! at the end of the raid or campaign, in a post credits scene it plays the scene from destiny 1 where the ghost revives you! because you sacrificed yourself to push them back to the old highway! that's why we don't have gear! but he said you lost your gear, but who knows? that is a good idea! what do you think?

Rellthatking If there was no Ghosts (in Destiny 2 not just the trailer) then none of the guardians would be alive as Ghosts are required for Guardians to live.

Fergal Harte That is false. Guardians can continue living after their Ghost's death. Eris is one example. Her Ghost has been dead for at least one hundred years. Without a Ghost you can't revive. Aka perma death.

All we know is that she is a women. I dont think there were any hints on her race, but yes its unlikely that she is stranger. Stranger most like will come in when there will be something big to do whit vex, because she is time traveler as well as vex.Or there will be huge plot twist and she will be traveler before she got in to time travel business
