My personal theory on the source of those encrypted missions is The Stranger, its far more likely from Rasputin though. The Vanilla player in me however yurns for her return with a more complete story of who was clearly intended to be a integral part of the game and imo the most interesting non player character other than Cayde-6.

and I have an answer to the speaker's mask wearing. -same as me he made a character he doesn't like, but only realized about a year or so in. and because we can't recostumize, he is hiding it by clicking the "mask always on" option.

I always thought that behind the door was an exit from the top of the tower. maybe it's where civilians and gaurdians live. the tower is big. maybe there's are,like, "apartments" for the citizens and gaurdians.

The stranger is not a guardian, she wasn't "forged in light" as she says in one of her many many cutscenes, Hawthorne was a person who ventured out into the wilds and protected civilians outside of the city

I've been curious about the big door as well and if you clump high enough you can somewhat see over and it looks like apartments, I mean it makes sense guardians have to shack up somewhere. Would've been really nice if we could actually get to them and customize houses in Destiny

What I would like is for the flavor text on armors to actually do things, there are so many relics and armor and also weapons that have really interesting flavor text and it would be extra cool if they actually did what it says. For example Thrallskin Drum (artifact): "A drum made from the skin of a Hive Thrall. Even when no one is playing it, you can always hear a faint beat." What if when you equipped it, after a while you'll start hearing drum beats every now and then, I think that would be cool, they could even use that to introduce new secret quests

destiny 2 story starts out like this: Your guardian has been captured by the cabal. in your prison the exo stranger helps you escape and return to a destroyed tower where you find a dying speeker. he then turns himself into a ghost to preserve his energy and light and also to aid you on your journey to reunite the vanguard, take down gary and release the traveler from its cage. our subclasses will come from missions on various planets given to us by the main 3 factions NM= solar sub. DO=void sub. and FWC= Arc sub

you keep saying that Eris morn convinced the awoken queen to start an attack against oryx which failed but...... if I recall (I might not correct me if wrong) they both knew that the attack would fail and was created for one simple reason..... to force oryx the door that super attack of his so that it cleans up the field so that we (guardian) can do whatever it is without having to go through an army

Queen is still alive. Her brothers grimoire cards says that. Eris is part of organization called Hidden who are loyal to Ikora Rey. Exo Stranger could give us some answers or we could get better understanding about her because most likely one of our new power sources will be related to vex. All I know about the vex is that one of the Goblins is racing in F-Zero tournaments. (In F-Zero GX there is a secret character called qqq which is a "damaged robot" which had "The Navigation technology which could enable it to travel through time". That and it just looks like somebody just painted a goblin)

I feel like Eao is just one of many Ahamkara but they reference towards them mostly because it might have been the strongest of them at the time or maybe "Eao" references the name the Ahamkara call themselves. The true name of their race. Just a thought.

Every hoarder in Destiny's biggest dream, is to have more, more, and even more vault space, I, myself, am not that kind of person, but I can say that let their dreams come true, Bungie 😇 All I want in D2, is just more to do, aquire really cool looking armor, that isnt only in the raid(s), fun and enjoyable PvE events, Gun quests with backstories to them, and have atleast 4-5 missions that you have to go through, to aquire them, at the same time, the story pulls you in with where the gun came from, who made it, and purpose it was built for, other than to shoot. Have a certain part of the campaign, that lets you fight alongside a certain character in the game, though the AI won't really do as much damage as you, since that's like how most games with that kind of gameplay, are.. but would still be nice to fight with them. Maybe add some cutscenes with a little lore thrown into them, and the Speaker, Ikora, or Eris talking about it.

For the question of eris morn being bad or good... she was a hunter who was part of the fireteam to take down crota. No she is not a warlock for people who think that. She was with her fireteam with eriana-3, toland, etc. they go down, eris's entire fireteam dies (except toland "technically" dies and gets exploited into the netherverse (listens to the deathsong of deathsingers). Eris remains trapped eventually crawls out of hellmouth, she loses her ghost, and her "light" hence why she looks like a thrawl and endowering in the darkness for too long was causation. Though she is neither good or bad, she just wanted revenge. And she doesn't support the tower either. In lore, when cabal invade, she eventually leaves without giving notice, except to a lone unconscious titan (forgot his name). If you've read this so far, I encourage you to watch lore vids or read grimoire. :)

Plus idk if u guys remember that one mission to "grab" crota's soul back in crota's throne with eris and cayde guiding us. At the end of it we get trapped in crota's throne and all of a sudden eris teleports us out? Probably wondering how?!? She has toland's journal and used that to get us out of crota's throne world. Toland was a genius when it came to the hive and "darkness". Indirectly toland guided us with oryx's raid with the use of blights, without toland, we would've never knew how to finish oryx off. Toland... is my boy.

I think that Mara Sov is still alive but after the battle with Oryx she went into hiding so that she could restore her power and come to the Guardians aid when we need it in Destiny 2. Also I think that the 'Queen' Eris answer two might be a splinter group from the original Hive that don't want to work with the Hive or Oryx but they may want to help us out. It's going to be very interesting what Destiny 2 will have to tell use but I will defenitly dig into the lore once more as some of the stuff in there is just amazing if you take some time to read it through

The queen is dead, IMO. But the awoken attack on the dreadnaught was not a failure, she herself said, "the awoken have played their part--this was all part of the plan". Those 5 light balls she sent out werent meant to destroy the dreadnaught, they were meant to show us where to go inside. I believe the crow is alive though and i think he has provided us with some leftover queens armor he had scurried away somewhere. Yes.... Eris, the dormant hive sleeper agent who was corrupted in the hellmount led guardians to kill Crota and his lieutenants, the Hive that would have corrupted her, led us to kill Oryx and the Darkblade. Makes sense. Sorry for the sarcasm XD

As far as I can understand, The Darkness is not a physical thing, is an energy, like the light. The light has no shape because it is energy, and it manifests through us, the guardians, and is the same way the darkness manifests itself with the Taken Power, The Blights, The "Negative Light" because as the grimoire says, Oryx did not create that power, he took it.

To answer your questions: 10. It's most likely the armoury as the textures of both the door and the armoury look alike and it would make sense as it's near the traveller's gaze 9. She's most likely dead, the dreadnaught won by a lot. Bungie did say that the queen may be alive in one of their streams. (Update) 8. The darkness are the enemies. They are everything that try to take the light but if you want a representation they are the depths where the world gods are from 7. She's most likely on our side but will do anything to defeat the hive. She does leave to defeat the hive gods 6. I can't tell. My theory is that it's Kabr (kabir?) as he got lost in the vault of glass and has, somewhat, joined their system. I think it would be cool if she was Hawthorn but i can't tell for sure. 5. His intentions are to be the voice of the traveller. I can't tell why he wears a mask 4. Osiris has become one with the Vex system. He's alive and dead because he can travel through time and space which makes him alive and dead. We will learn 3. The nine are from the jovians. My theory is that Xur is just a business man who makes a profit off trash. 2. Most likely, no. The Vex infect guardians by having their insides inside one of them, it says in a grimoire card that they taste like the ocean. The thing about human hands could be made by a future guardian to beat the Vex (big speculation) 1. The ahamkara are alive as the bones of eao. Many people think that the price we pay is about the cabal but most likely not.

I wonder what is going to happen to the hive in our system. I mean we have defeated Crota and Oryx , their king and from what I understand about the hierachy of the hive and their sword logic it should be us , those who killed Oryx , that should become the next kings and queens. But we didn't take that spot. So who is in charge now? Are we in charge but aren't aware of our power or is someone else now the boss in town? Could it be a guy called Nokris that so far has only been mentioned once in the taken king? And what is up with the taken? We also killed pretty much anyone that could control these things and yet they still wander around our system and taking over vex entities like the nexus.

Anybody think about Nokris from the TTK expansion? That's a question not even answered so far. My opinion is that Nokris might just be Eris. After all, according to others, Nokris is Crota's sister. So, Nokris, a.k.a Eris, would want to take control of Oryx's kingdom by getting guardians to do the dirty work for her.

what if Eris works for Nokris and she just use us to get rid of crota and oryx because for some reason her master can't, maybe he is lock away in a realm by oryx for some reason and now with crota and oryx dead maybe Eris can unlock that prison so he can be the new god of the hive.

First, I still want to know about what happened in that fateful battle long ago which caused the traveler to be so damaged. I the grimoire cards infer that Rasputin did it but I want details and reasons. Second, why are humans still here? What I mean is, if Humanity had spread throughout the stars and was on many worlds outside our solar system and we had are buts kicked so thoroughly that we lost literally every planet save a single city on Earth, why stop there? I mean I get the Traveler is protecting us "somehow" (another question I want answered is how) but it's half dead and was getting ready to run. If it didn't have the power to protect itself fully healed to the point where it felt it needed to run then how is it doing it now? Why are we still alive? Lastly, what the hell IS the Traveler? Why does it do what it does and why does the Darkness want it dead? So many more questions but I'll leave it at that.

What if the reason we no longer see the Stranger is BECAUSE we killed the heart in the Black Garden. Thinm about it. She is from the future and was trying to make us kill the heart. In her timeline, she was created because the heart still existed. She was sent on a suicide mission to destroy the heart, therefore running across us and not existing any longer. But then comes a paradox. If we stopped the heart, she doesnt exist and therefore never went back.
