Shadowkeep is an intro for Lightfall build up. Beyond Light is a build up for Lightfall, Witch Queen works as a build up for Lightfall, then Lightfall becomes build up for the Final Shape... When will we get a proper campaign like Destiny 2 Red War or Forsaken, a story that tells it's own story and finishes it properly?

the whole campaign: "Oh no the witness is getting to the veil! stop it or we are all doomed because... reasons!" After the witness gets the veil: "eh whatever, no big deal. Traveller is changed whatever that means, but we still have the light so not like it matters, and the witness is away doing whatever instead of murdering us all"

As a solo player who mostly purchases the expansions to enjoy the story and play through the seasons it’s so disappointing to pay this amount of money each year to just get another bad made campaign with new characters that aren’t built up well like nimbus oh god even when Rohan died my guy didn’t even react😂

From what we can hear at 59:00 + the final cutscene, I assume that the Traveler's purpose is to act like a prison to hold Nezarec inside it (or in another dimension since the Witness opened a portal). Nezarec could be the big boss (even stronger than the Witness) / this so called "Final Shape" because he said he was "pain" and "terror" himself. Also when he said he needed power, maybe the fact that some of the pyramids ships have entered the portal with the Witness is exactly for this reason, to feed Nezarec which was captive in this prison and help him recovers his power?

What annoys me about the story in Destiny is that there are always questions, what was that on Neptune. Where is the witness with his fleet gone, yo Bungie give answers and stop always about this shit mystery box to make as in the terrible movies and series from J. J. Abrams!

Don't worry, you'll get your answers after 5 seasons but not without another mysterious anatogist to make you spend another 100 bucks and leave you with yet... more questions to be answered over the next 2 dlcs after that, and so one and so forth

the veil was on neptune. it’s the “pale heart” that the witness spoke about in the ending witch queen cutscene. we don’t know where the witness went probably because the major issue atm is following him

@@vlvtmnky1142 The Vex have the same triangular gates when it comes to time travel where will he have gone? Either in the past in the golden age his mistake correct that he has not completely wiped out mankind. Unlikely that he travels to the future, probably it will be a time travel war where you have to defend the time line so that humanity survives until now. Maybe you even build the First City with ?

Spitball theory: This all reminds me of the story we had with saint-14 I believe? Where the guardian See's their grave, a hero of the light who united the former does of the city and the galaxy. My thought is that strand is the one of if not the only recently discovered ways of defeating the witness. Of course currently both Osiris and the guardian hold strand, so what if in defeating the witness you are also sacrificing yourself. After all, The warlock Osiris has his knowledge, guidance, and other benefits to the greater whole of humanity. Idk, but I liked this vid, always loved destiny2

​@WillBillBillie just about. That "grind" part is way too much. I returned playing last season most evenings for most of the evening and still couldn't reach the proper levels for the raid or Trials. Gave up on it because it wasn't fun or worth my time.

Whoever is writing the character dialog shouldn't. Destiny is feeling more and more like the Disneyfied versions of Star Wars. Imo it would be so much better with a more grim approach and ambience like the early Halo games. The jovial nature of the game is just too gimmicky for an apocalyptic space story.

hmm... 50 mins in, so far it really hasn't really felt like a "penultimate" expansion. The hidden city is cool but uh... I have a hard time caring about the striders. I think all of this seems a bit too wacky. "the big bad guy is here but have some bright lights" I just realized the Human Male guardian has the same voice as Paladin Danse in Fallout 4... I can't unhear it Nice "twist" there in the end I suppose. Get rekt guardians hah
