Destiny 2 OOB: The Mysterious Door of Doors

The Door of Doors. One of Destiny 2's most elusive destinations.
We made it to Galaxy Pools before we cracked open this place. It evaded all of our most powerful glitches, and when I finally had an IRB route plotted, Bungie removed Blind Well from Last Wish, making it impossible. Until now. Just what are they hiding back there? Probably nothing, but that's not about to deter me ;)
This is an IRB route, so you'll need at least two people, although everyone can get into Door of Doors. In fact, you can bring up to 9 people along for maximal amusement, although instance matching can be a bit unpleasant. Still, worth it for the memes.
Thanks to TheCube17 and Nahsense for discovering an easy way to hit the Shattered Throne to Confluence load. It opens up even more possibilities in the Dreaming City than what Last Wish gave us. We've been going to Shattered Throne from Last Wish for a while ( • Destiny 2 OOB: Reachin... ), but now we can go from Shattered Throne to Last Wish!

This was so much fun to help with and trying to get 9 guardians to form a triangle, or even just decide on an emote, was easily one of the most chaotically fun things I have done in this game in a while

Around 15 minutes there is a different way you can break out of the map rather than the intangible wall it is on the ceiling of the inside of the tallest tower thing just before the stairs. It doesn’t really affect the run much but would just make it slightly quicker since you don’t have to jump the gap

I love seeing the maps from outside. Gives me so much better mental picture how to get where. I can't do most of these things you're showing, since that would require macros and that would mean I'd have to learn how to deal with those. I wish there was a 3d rendering of the places of Destiny where you could look around what's where. Actually, if there isn't, maybe I should start building one, as that is in my ballpark.

at this point I've started thinking of oob as the first layer of the ascendant plane. I mean when you start messing around with charts to phase through the ground and spontaneously popping up behind closed doors in the middle of a blind well run, what's the difference really?

Nothing like loading into shattered throne, to enter Last Wish, so you can get somewhere in the dreaming city patrol

The door probably leads to the bridge, after the first encounter of the raid. Instead of having to ho underneath you come out ontop and can use it to go to the actual dreaming city, which we can see in the distance behind the walls

You can reach the spot, but the Wish Wall isn't active, so if you're talking about the one in the courtyard after Morgeth, you cant. You can totally grab both bonus chests though.

Yeah, but it's fairly painful. You can manage to go over the top in done places. Then you'd do the same rez breach to hit the load. Warlock with Strand super probably will have the easiest time. You can do that top left, instead of going to the right to the start of Shuro Chi

Only a couple clips are old to demonstrate the vast array of powerful bugs that can't get you there. And the Navigator bug is not fixed at all. It's very much still in game. Quantum Sparrow too, although it's trickier.

That would sorta make sense. The positioning is approximately correct for the bridge. Maybe there'd be some sign of the other side in the raid if that's the case.

Usually they do use the little hidden away places for something, but the door fails the door test, so it's part of the map, not a real door. They'd have to change the map geometry, and they don't do that too often. Would be neat though.

i just figured the boss or chest would be stored that, but that would be too easy. also it would be funny if the 15th wish was stored there. and since the 15th wish have been revealed. theres no reason to keep it a secret and locked up

I'd doubt it. Seems too low. From DV, Blind Well is above you, while Chamber is further below.

A long time ago. Quantum Finisher was good times. It broke us out of Mercury, and is the reason I learned how to Sparrow fly.

@@Froggy618157725 2:10 looking at your guardian it is clear-as-day, high quality as expected and then once 2:11 hits and the guardian gets closer to the screen, the guardian turns into an unclear flash grenade. 18:09 while aiming down sights, look to the left side, it is blurry and fuzzy, trying to look there is difficult. 18:11 try reading the word "Omolon" on your gun, it looks as if someone dropped water all over it. Turn depth-of-field off and viola! I can now read the word "Omolon" :3

The route does have you pass by the same area a couple times, but only out of necessity. An believe me, if you don't appreciate the journey for Door of Doors, you're just going to be disappointed ;)

It's new to me :D I've had most of that route planned for a long time, but when I went to do it, Last Wish had that weird patch to disable patrol spaces. At least that also gave us some pretty weird glitches.
