I wish I had more motivation to run for the sub 8 before Witch Queen. I had so many choked sub 8 runs the day of servers going offline but I couldn't get it. Very very bad run, sorry that it's not as polished as it could be. It was fun while it lasted, rip hammers.

This is pre-nerf hammer titan bro, you can see he is using elemental charge and protective light, shit is dead now, your best bet is time dillation stasis mod and well of tenacity as they now give 50% DR and protective light is just a measly 10%...

Look at what happened to Baken. if you watch this videon you'll notice his health never goes below a certain amount even when dealt damage that should normally kill him. During the toland cube phase he's already health critical and gets hit by a taken hobgoblin - that should have killed him.

@@FusterCluckArchive This run was verified by the official speedrunning mods, and I’m more inclined to believe them then some random in the comments. Saying 99% of top players are cheaters is such a ridiculous generalization that it’s not even worth talking about. As for the run itself, I went through the hexahedron room footage and couldn’t find where he should have died from a hobgoblin. If you could give a timestamp, that would be really helpful. He was running both protective light and healing wells, meaning that he THRIVES at broken shield levels, plus had near constant healing from the combination of mods and picking up the hammer. Something to keep in mind is that this is pre nerf protective light, so the resistance is much stronger here than it would be today. I’m not gonna sit here and say that this run was 110% legit and can’t be proven otherwise, but this is a big achievement from someone who clearly has the skill to pull it off as well as the experience that garners respect. Just because something in the run looks off to you doesn’t mean you have the authority to declare him a cheater.

to be fair hammer titan was way stronger before solar 3.0 they nerfed the damage into the ground. hammers dont work with 1-2-punch, no double melee after 1-2-punch, less overall damage, less boss damage, less damage from synthoceps. only thing thats better with solar 3.0 is survivability wich would make running this more consistent i guess but much slower bc of the damage loss

Does killing the hobgoblins to spawn the nights in the next room always spawn the correct knight? Or is there rng to it

Basically there’s spawns A B C D which are the same in each room. You kill 1 hob and it would spawn a knight in location A in whatever room you’re headed. You kill 2 more and they spawn in B then C. In fireteam you can just kill 4 each room to get the two closest knights but in solo it’s pretty hard to get more than 2 hobs so the knights could be anywhere
