Something to note about the AR is it can roll with Armor Piercing Rounds, which lets it overpenetrate and potentially hit multiple targets with one bullet. I haven't been able to test this extensively because it's hard to count rounds on such a fast firing gun, but this should work with Rewind Rounds to give you more bullets. You probably won't notice this much all in normal gameplay, but AP rounds is always nice to have and this interaction is just another bonus.

I think that the AR overall is better than the trials smg perk-wise as well. The trials smg has crappy reload and not much to make up for it. They both have demo but for the smg it takes up the slot of any would be damage perk, the smg is a 750 which is slightly higher fire rate for thread of generation, but the lack of a damage perk especially when paracausal affinity is so easy to access hurts a lot.

reconstruction is NOT the best pairing for target lock. yes it will double your mag size once then it does nothing if you want to keep shooting after you reload. rewind is a much better pair for target lock cause it gives you almost the same amount of bullets per reload assuming you hit your shots which you need to do anyway with target lock.

Chain reaction on Koraxis' distress has helped me generate unraveling rounds and tangles in that regard, pretty good for strand titan since it's just another way to get woven mail

I like the sidearm, but I'm also a sidearm fan. If you like sidearms, Mykel's Reverence with Tap the Trigger is butter smooth. I believe that it also has ten more base range than Brigand's Law, and with damage perks it's a banger. Unrelenting with piercing sidearm is beautiful.

The Chain Reaction and Hatchling roll on the Grenade Launcher could be a ad clear game changer if the Chain explosions trigger Threadlings to spawn

I was super excited to get that roll, but I've tried it out and it's kinda not great. The same problem with Chain Reaction on swords, by the time you'd get it to proc you've already killed everything.

Maybe for damage the gl seems meh, but for ad clean it seems extremely good. Why? Chain + hatchling Hatchlings work differently on non precision weapons. It needs to be tested if hatchling has an internal cooldown, but in theory: You kill a couple of enemies Chain reaction kills a couple more All of them (in theory) can spawn threadlings Thread of rebirth for even more threadlings It could be good, it could be gimmicky, but I'm interested to get this roll.

Just pointing something out but I remember back when Repulsor Brace came out, everyone considered it such a trash throw away perk but not me haha. I always thought it had potential and even before the over shield buff I ran it on my Epicurean with my void hunter, even before Gyrfalcon too. Kept me alive so much. HIR and wewind wounds seems like it might be an strong pairing with HIR on the crafted version of the linear. Should give you multiple shots in the range where HIR is giving the highest benefit.

I run the shotgun with deterministic chaos, which turns enemies volatile then when I run out of ammo, switch to the shotgun get my over shields while the chaos is reloading itself with my armor mods

Wait... An auto rifle? From a raid? In a usable archetype? Sign me the hell up! The last time we got an auto from a raid was 5 raids ago with Reckless Oracle from Garden of Salvation in 2019. And while it got a ton of use from me, it wasn't exactly a great weapon. Here's hoping this new one turns that tide. And let's not forget that we have still yet to get an auto rifle from a dungeon. Sure, there have been autos that drop in dungeons, but none that weren't gained elsewhere first.

I have 3 of the raid weapons crafted so far, here’s what I chose (column 3 and 4 perks are enhanced on all of them): Nessa’s Oblation: Smallbore, Assault Mag, Reconstruction and Paracausal Affinity (side note: Paracausal Affinity has been surprisingly good for DPS phases and has replaced my FILO for double slug phases!) Doofus’s Fury: Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds, Rewind Rounds and Target Lock (this roll absolutely HOSES ads down, give it a try if you can!) Briar’s Contempt: Arrowhead Brake, Enhanced Battery, Rewind Rounds and High Impact Reserves (this roll is crazy for DPS if you can hit all of your shots, it feels better than my Bait & Switch Cataclysmic and performs better than Stormchaser did in its prime!)

For the LFR a roll of slideshot HIR would be best IMO. Every slide only loads one bullet so u will always get the maximum damage possible. However it will be very niche. Against nezerac it will frop your dps but against someone like Rhulk where u are constantly moving it will be great. I wouldnt say craft this as your main roll due to its niche use, but since crafting and lvling weapons is so easy now, why not?

Rewind Rounds would be better than Slideshot since it partially refills the magazine and gives you 9 damage-buffed shots out of 12 total in one magazine.

My dream strand build: I want the crafted auto with demo/hatchling , shotgun repulse/volatile, Gl with reconstruction/ paracausal. Strand warlock ,3 surge mods ,spec all other orb/rift mods into melee , 100 res, 100 discipline, battle harmony for 20% damage boost with full super and strand kills will generate super energy ,and shackle grenade consume for kills suspend targets . Also the threadlings spawning from your weapon kills will be boosted from the fragment and the battle harmony empowering rift will make them even nastier. Basically 2 mini nukes every couple precision kills Fragments: orbs=woven mail, threadlings travel further and do more damage , suspension kills refill class ability , and strand weapons kills spawn threadlings . With all that the map should be suspended, the auto should refill my grenade in a few seconds and 2 threadlings per kill now because hatchling and the fragment . Melee spam is covered with mods , class ability spam is covered by fragment(shackle grenade weapon kills ) ,super spam covered by battle harmony , shotgun repulsor/volatile combo for survival on top of woven mail (they stack), Gl for boss damage . Auto will have minor spec ,shotty major ,and gl boss spec . That's my dream build I'm going to work towards because I love strand and see myself using it many seasons back to back . And you'll get the triple boost origin trait damage (10%) and reload from having the triple set of raid weapons. So on a boss phase super full ,kill a couple adds , paracausal activates 17% ,Battle Harmony 20% , 3 surge mods 22% , empowering rift 20% That's a 79% damage boost to your heavy Gl not including the origin perk damage if it applies to the enemy. Blast through all your heavy to utilize the buff and then hit your suoer and rift ,swap to shotty or auto to finish up ,melees ECT . Should be pretty nasty . It's def gonna take a very long time to get the weapons craftable but I already have everything else for the build where it needs to be. I'm excited .

Re: Repulsor Brace / Destabilizing Rounds, and if they added that perk combination to a Primary it would break the game~ I mean, that's Gyrfalcon's Hauberk. And yeah; it will get nerfed into the ground before too long. Starfire Protocol is likely next on the chopping block, but Gyrfalcon is living on borrowed time, as well.

So weird than Nezarec doesnt have any unique weapon, aside from the exotic. Aside from that the main problem with Lightfall exists, which is there is no chill content anymore to use any underpowered guns. So its pretty clear what will be used and what isnt. Demonjoe, those Strand weapons will be good with Elem.Modifiers/Surges. The archetype may feel bad now, but it will certainly not with 50% extra damage modifiers.

@Phoenix I typically do higher end content where it's way nicer to insta delete any red bars and melt orange bars than having incandescent. gms, master raids, etc. for most content I can totally see incan. that was the role I had on it for a while when I first crafted, it was super fun!

Your linear suggestion is horrible. For Kings fall that linear is nuts! With enhanced surrounded and rewind rounds, or even high impact or focused fury with rewind. I mean we are talking some seriously insane dps with no need to reload. Imagine procking enhanced surrounded with rewind in Oryx. Like brother the melt
