Cayde-6. He was there in the beginning and now he returns for the end. Cayde has been apart of some pretty pivotal moments throughout Destiny history so today we discuss who he is, his impact and return inside the Traveler.

God I hope we get a mission like Forsaken’s intro where we get to fight alongside Cayde-6 in Final Shape. As someone who’s played as a hunter since D1 it would be so fitting and heartbreaking to get to fight alongside him one last time in our final moments.

I don't think Cayde-6 will be able to leave the Traveler though, so it would have to take place within that place. Which could be a possibility, since the Traveler's inside is built from twisted memories it's possible we get to relive a sort of corrupted version of past events alongside Cayde. That would be a blast.

I find it poetic that a lot of people like myself lost their love for Destiny around the time we lost Cayde, and now we are rediscovering that love as Cayde makes his return. Destiny lives and dies alongside Cayde-6!

While Crow didn't intentionally wish for Cayde to come back, he does have regret for what he did to Cayde during his past life as Uldren Sov. Riven also feels regret for how she treated Crow and manipulated him under the guise of Mara. However this time the method Riven is using is her way of consoling Crow. No manipulation or malicious intentions, Riven actual does regret what she did to Crow, and chose Mara's appearance as a comforting familiar face for Crow to see. Even though Crow didn't intend on wanting Cayde back, he only wanted to have the opportunity to apologize to him, thus Riven decided to grant Crow a genuine wish with no strings attach or trickery whatsoever. By doing this, Crow would have the chance to make amends with Cayde, and Riven would honor Taranis by granting a genuine wish that would help someone rather than benefitting herself through a bargain.

That sequence is etched in my brain. I didn't even understand that it was my guardian talking at first and when I saw him speak I went like "8O". Bungie sunsetting the Red War, Forsaken but especially Shadowkeep is simply unforgivable and that sequence is a big part of the unforgiveness of it all.

I would like to think the day before the reef map got sunseted, that guardians cleansed the reef of the skorn. (for context, someone brought up a way to pay tribute to Cayde by taking out as many skorn on the reef with ace of spades or Cayde-6 tribute armor. And a lot of people said they'd be there doing just that) After all, this was for Cayde. It was the least we could do.

I hope vanguard will go away as a thing. In launch trailer we were showen how people in the city were "final shaped" and Earth ad a whole transformed dramaticly. And if we kill Witness and all this magicly will reverse back, it will be another lame low stake story where nothing matter and anything can ba magicly reversed. So F vanguard, jar-jar-cayde, Prince Emo and all these clowns. I hope destinu universe will transform dramaticly and they will bring new characters wich wont be another disney-like crapfest

It’s a massive toll on ahamkaras is the thing to grant a wish and not twist it to feed. She really must have had respect for us and crow to do that. I do hope one day we see Riven return or her offspring come into the story again

I think Cayde-6 and Sundance Merge or Combined, So now we see what a Guardian and a Ghost merged or combined together looks like. Because when he dies, he resurrect him self. Just think of him as a human size Guardian ghost In the final shape DLC

So if Cayde had allowed himself to be killed, and Sundance was smart enough to wait for Uldren and the Barons to leave, he would still be alive. Seems like a tactic of that kind would have been well known by that time in guardian history.
