Would've made more sense to have a "corrosion" poison subclass than something outta left field like Strand. Most of the gameplay was informed and created from just the Hunter's original kit. The Warlock kit and super while unique could have been anything other than Strand and still work. Titan's kit and super is mostly a copy paste of pre-existing animations.

I downloaded the game back in November during the black Friday sale. These changes look immensely helpful for new lights. My main coming was simply not knowing what I should be doing. On my first day Hawthorne gave me the quest to complete Duality, how was I supposed to know that was far beyond my reach? This new system looks to fix that completely. Should also note that youtubers consistently make guides on how to level up yet never how to actually progress in the game.

@@anms_brk I mean not exactly, there are so many mods that you can use, armor affinities (Ik it’s going away), and to me it just feels kinda clunky. In general the inventory needs a revamp, inventory management is literally the worst thing in this game. We have useless materials like finest matterweave which I have more than I know what to do with, new umbral energy every season (also going away I know). It’s not that it’s too hard but it’s that it just feels like it wastes time that could be spent actually playing the game.

IMO the Traveler has always been kind of aloof, its kind of annoying to know shockingly little of the big ball in our backyard, while we've been getting TONS of info about the darkness/pyramid ships/the witness

@@clmaoo oh yeah, I understand. It's just that the majority of what we "know" about the Traveler is inferred. I realize it's in character for that to be the case, but, especially as we may be nearing the end of our time with the Traveler, it would be nice to finally have some closure of important questions directly from the Traveler themself. I think even if the Traveler is ambivalent, it would make sense both in canon and for us the player to have one explicit interaction at least. Even in canon, our guardians more or less have no idea if the Traveler prefers us, or just was forced to settle here, or if it cares at all. I think we're kind of on the brink of at least learning that in canon, though. The final cinematic of the season I think is good proof of that dilemma, and I hope we get some more info on it in Lightfall.

I have a feeling in Lightfall our main way of learning about the Traveler will be cutscenes between the Witness and the Traveler interacting in some way.

yea, ive decided to mostly let go of my anger and just play hunter. it was super funny when describing the exotics, and the other 2 got something that does its own unique thing, and ours only makes kephris horn a bit better. Same with all the footage of the class too, warlocks and hunters get all this complex stuff, where we get some poor sap trying desperately to make the fact that you can "punch things repeatedly in a combo and then do a heavy attack" sound even mildly interesting or different. I don't blame them in any way or hold it against them, I pity them for being put in a position where they have to defend the most comically unimaginative design I've seen in the game for years. Especially considering strand should've been the element with the most interesting and creative stuff. The funnier part is hearing them describe how its "the web of life" and then try to explain how titans remotely play into that.

They have been making improvements to the games engine, which has been the biggest limiter for how much content the game can have at once. Hopefully they'll be able to improve the engine further to eventually phase out vaulting completely.

As Francisco said, there have been improvements made, but I also believe they'll somehow release a proper built "Destiny 3" which will be the final version where it all can be. Makes sense strategy wise and story wise since they're making such an emphasis on the end of the light and dark saga, but more destiny to come.
