This garden reminds me so much of the D1 story with a guardian dreaming he was in the black garden, a ghost shaped flower spoke to him how guardians are an army of the dead. The guardian reaches to pick the flower but it cuts him, he wakes up and the cut is still there and it never healed. "You are a dead thing, made by a dead power in the shape of the dead. All you ever will do is kill. You do not belong here for this is a place of life."

Can we talk about how bungie is the darkness which explains why stasis was so op. Look at it like this the darkness took the other worlds aka bungie sunset them mofos. This cutscene describes bungie too >.>
