I think they didn't even want to take a side in this because it sounds like Lex and Don were both friends to them. They only chose to fire Don because he was a liability to the channel and company to keep him around when he has this accusation tied to his name. It doesn't matter if the claim was true or not, that accusation is forever tied to him, so from a business perspective it makes more sense to just cut him out instead of keeping him around. They can't say this publically and didn't say this in their response videos either otherwise people will misconstrue it as them defending Don which, considering the court of public opinion has already deemed him guilty with no proof of him actually assaulting Lex, is something that will get them even more shit. What makes no sense to me is if Lex was truly traumautized by the supposed SA commited by Don, why did she proceed to engage in a long distance romantic relationship with him across a contitnent for a further year before breaking up with him when he finally comes back for Creator Clash 2. To me it seems almost like Lex is heavily exxagerating what was likely a very awkward sexual encounter between two 20 somethings to make it sound much worse than it actually was. I don't think allegations should be tossed, even if there isn't evidence, but it also can't be used as proof of them being guilty, just because an allegation exists. What should happen, is that the an unsubstantiated allegation should remain in limbo, until additional facts can be uncovered that prove either guilty or not. I find it seriously disturbing how seriously people take allegations that seem absolutely outlandish, and lump them in with accusations that are way more likely to be true, or have more substantive evidence behind them, and having seriously bad allegations in the same group with legitimate believable claims makes every other claim seem or look worse by just being associated.

But he is Lex. “Lex” makes allegations, Leighton lays it on too, and then Nick comes in to defend “Lex” (himself) Viola, now Nick and Ethan can be together, Supermega is defeated, Leighton gets his revenge, and Ethan can lie to himself and not accept his own gayness.

Im willing to admit that I fell for this ploy hook line and sinker. I feel awful that i noticed things wasnt adding up but i watched the appologies and the accusations. There was alot of bs i did note but the fact i learned they did do wrong with handling and i wasn't watching their uploads anyways since i just dont have time or desire? I choose to unsub. Im annoyed i misunderstood the total scene this was set up and thank you for doing this. Sexual harassment in the workplace can be very vague and unless you’re getting solicited or outright molested then you should really speak to the “harasser” and tell them you either don’t like their jokes or how they’re speaking before you decide that HR needs to discipline an employee. For people who have no job I’ll explain that even overhearing a couple of coworkers talking about someone OTHER THAN YOU inappropriately, that can be deemed sexual harassment just by you taking offense to comments that have nothing to do with you. You can also “harass” someone if for example, you’re dating a coworker and a third party finds your workplace flirting to be uncomfortable, that can be deemed harassment. Another example is if you’re sharing a raunchy meme with a coworker during lunch and a third party sees it and takes offense. It’s also not uncommon for a company to reeducate their employees on a subject when employees violate certain policy or when employees repeatedly fail on some aspect of their performance.

From experience I can agree with this. I had a colleague say some inappropriate stuff completely unprompted with no prior flirting to me in private, add on top PTSD from SA and I was extremely distressed. Because it was vague and I didn't want to deal with HR especially as it was so minor. I told him when I was safe and calmer how that was extremely inappropriate, I don't want to be physical or intimate with him, he made me extremely uncomfortable and to never speak to me unless it's work related. Fixed the situation. We work together just fine, there was no drama and he's respected my boundaries as well as given me space the rare times I'm in the office.

I'm just hearing this story now, but I'm agree with Stripper Destiny that anyone saying "I really really want it" isn't coercion. That would mean like 99% of men would be guilty. And plenty of women..... Likewise for pushing their head down. Rude. But still not grape. Just them doing something you didn't like. Which I know today, the definitions are sliding down that slope quicker and quicker everyday, but still no. About the only way you're getting close to the grape accusations, while doing something they didn't like, is when children are being created out of the deal against someone's permission. And even then, way too many people would be guilty, because they didn't have that conversation when they should have. Pretty soon I'm going to be guilty because my ex took it upon herself to gag herself on my ****** while I wasn't even moving, because she didn't like what she did to herself....

it depends on the extent. Like i could excuse it if you ask and its a no, then an hour or so later you ask again. That gives time for someone to change their mind on their own with no pressure involved. Tbh if your partner says no once just dont ask again, thats how you avoid situations like this. I dont think someone should have to say no over and over again for their significant other to understand what they mean. Also pushing their head down would be attempted grape given that is a forceful action which wouldve led to grape if successful. The way to avoid grape allegations is to take no for an answer. Like your example (this one "Pretty soon I'm going to be guilty because my ex took it upon herself to gag herself on my **** while I wasn't even moving, because she didn't like what she did to herself...." is a really bad example because no shit, she willingly did it herself even if she didnt enjoy the outcome of it. But if youre pushing someones head down to get some head yourself that is not your partner willing doing something they want to do. The ACTUAL definition is "the practice of persuading someone to do something by using force or threats". It's not suddenly if some asks "too much" for your liking, that they're suddenly a grapist. That would mean most of the planet are now grapists because they ASKED for something. Something grapists don't usually do, and I made another comment about this too. Besides that's subjective. As far as the "force" goes, first, you shouldn't have your head near someone's crotch to begin with. Second, I was referring to Tom's first account about moving while they're already engaged in it. Hence my example about someone doing it to me themselves and not liking it after. Should I now count that as grape because it's something I didn't ask for and she did it anyway? It meets more of the real standards than your logic does. And btw, you don't get any authority to change words and definitions to suit your liking because you claim to be a victim. That's not how anything works and an all too common mentality today. Victimhood is nothing to strive for and not an "out" or appeal to authority in all situations ever.
