Something is so very off with Lex given that she made a 2 hour video that mostly harped on her employers and their personal lives when she later said the purpose was for awareness.. [Edit] forgot to mention morgpie both backstabbed and was backstabbed by them too For example she blames them for doing what she asked (keep silent about the alleged SA) or blaming them for "making her homeless" by kicking her out when 1) she was offered to stay for a few weeks and turned that into months and 2) was welcome back home in a different state but refused and 3) was offered money to move into a new place she outright refused because she prefered the office and 4) she made a mess of the office then blamed SM for the conditions. She specifically brings up personal attacks to make them feel like shit for example taunting them about their friends suicide. She manages to blame SM for everything despite them going out of their way to accomodate her. This all makes it seem like revenge for some perceived wrong (probably asking her to move out of the office) instead of genuine. The fact she's lied about everything makes it seem pretty likely the SA story is at the very least embellished, although SM are such good guys they outright refuse and denounce anyone who even considers this (because they still dont believe their spiteful ex-friend is capable of that). Its hard to say whether or not I think Nick really believes lex. I imagine he went in initially accepting the entire narrative uncritically and treated it like some youtube drama he could take the highground on to feed his own ego, and later realized it was fucked but refused to admit wrong because that would require him to admit to his audience who won't ever interact with opposing viewpoints anyways. He just comes off as a shitty Hasan clone except instead of politics and streaming its SA accusations and youtube/tiktok.

I’m starting to think Ethan is the puppet master in this whole thing. He started hanging out with Lex and comforting her about the don situation and then immediately swooped on when she broke up with don. Then all of a sudden all of this is an issue and then the SA is super terrible and Lex changes her mind on not wanting anyone to know about it. Then Leighton gets fired and he’s salty so he obviously has a vendetta and he is clearly very easily manipulated and unhinged so it would be easy to pressure him into coming out with everything he knows about the situation. Then Lex and Ethan reached out to Nick even though he said they didn’t (he also said they did). I’m thinking Ethan basically convinced Lex that the situation was worse than she first imagined (which is fine to an extent as there are survivors that don’t see their situation as bad but then need someone who’s on the outside looking in to tell them that it was pretty bad) and that everything SuperMega did was contributing to making it worse. This wouldn’t be hard as Lex also seems to be easily manipulated since she’s extremely immature. Then Leighton gets fired and he convinces him that they were terrible to Lex so they must have been terrible to him. Ethan then goes to his best friend Nick and tells him everything and tells Nick to help them bring all of this to light. This is all speculation but it’s is kinda heightened by the fact that he cut ties with Leighton and Nick the second that everything started to crumble and when it was all happening he didn’t make a single video even though he was closest to Lex and Leighton and instead was just on stream celebrating their downfall and directing people to watch Nicks video as if to almost distance himself from being directly involved.

What I hate abt this whole situation is in Lex's story she tells Matt/Ryan she doesn't want her sa story to be a big deal but still dealt with.
