One of the main problems for Twitch is how skewed they allow the numbers to be in favor of their "top talent". I saw a stat that claimed 93% of streamers on Twitch get less than 5 viewers. If that is true then THAT'S the biggest problem for the platform. Can you imagine if that were true for KZbinrs and views?? But KZbin's algorithm is great for spreading the attention around to as many channels as possible. Twitch doesn't have that and those numbers are disgusting, honestly. I'd never try to stream on that platform.
@user.Icarus Жыл бұрын
It is true for KZbinrs. You realize you’re comparing KZbin to Twitch right? KZbin is like 20x the size of Twitch, and one is a video hosting site and the other is a live streaming site, they’re not comparable. Only 51 million KZbin channels have over 10 subs, that’s only ~2% of users… KZbin has 2.7B monthly active users to Twitch’s 140M, and honestly with those numbers I wouldn’t be surprised if KZbin live streaming was far worse than the stat you mentioned for Twitch. When was the last time you watched a KZbin live stream or was recommended one by KZbin and then clicked on it?

my whole deal with hormone treatment and medical surgeries in regards to transitioning is that some of these don't have that good of data to know if they're safe or not. because if we knew they did do harm those experiments to collect that data would have possibly been obtained in medically unethical ways. or that we wouldn't allow a child to take sport performance enhancing drugs for sport, but we're using the same medication and of course it's prescribed in a different way; yet even with regular testosterone we are still dealing with a medication that it's current form is fairly new. these medications are new and not as researched as other medications, but i do empathize for those who are trans and have to grow up with this medical issue. if anything maybe you can say kids can't be treated prior to whatever agreed upon age, when it comes to transitioning medically with medications and procedures, but if a child does do it they sign a form that allows the doctor or hospital performing the procedures is off the hook legally; incase the child regrets their transition. now i'm only suggesting this as a way to make sure both parties take their time with deciding on transiong. because some medical providers are profit driven willing to cut corners in providing good medical health care, but it will also allow patients to know that there is risk on their side to force their doctor to stay on course with the medical treatment SOP's. hopefully i articulated well enough, but i'm only coming from a person who wants to reduce negative outcomes as much as possible and alleviates both parties anxieties because i feel like we should be able to live along one another. since as a nation population we're all we got and when i see the divide between each other just reminds me of the dynamic of serbians and bosnians; because rather than religion governing the positions lives it's political parties for the US.

There are quite a few streamers that stream at 1440p on Twitch, but to get 8mps bit rate you need to be affiliated at least maybe partnered. I'm not sure. For it to be stable anyways.

Destiny as far as the last thing with Adin. In my personal experience CNC feels wrong even when you fully expressed consent from the other party to an extent. At least anecdotally I can say that even now it's still weird for me when engaging in it even after years of being in a CNC relationship.

Damn… lost of a lil bit of respect for Train at the beginning… don’t beat around the bush Train, just admit you agree with Adin. Having Adin decide who gets to stream on Kick is not only idiotic, it’s bad for business. Your grudge against these two almost will come to bite you in some way.

Question is how many people. The operating cost of caching streams at watchable bitrate is massively , at least in the 10s of times, more expensive than just live viewing with compressed replays. Not to mention the maintenance hours for it.

Adin shouldn’t ban anyone due to personal grudges alone. But, if he is a partial owner and has that power to, then he can. As many people have told me before, freedom of speech does not apply to social media.
