Also, so many of these hype videos and those high school kids' recruiting vids too, have rap beds under - now, I love a good track, a good groove as much as the next guy, no matter what genre - but often, there's loud lyrics blasting away that take focus away from the player or team OR ultimately detract from potential drama, emotion and build that could be possible for the particular piece. This one lays a good, non-lyrical musical foundation, that swells when necessary and I think is a big part of the overall effect.

I don't believe there is any school that has accomplished more with less than MSU. Football, Basketball, they are in the mix. They do not have the draw of Michigan, Alabama, Ohio State, and other BIG programs, yet they manage to do great things with players who might be considered lesser talent. That can only be explained by the best coaches getting the best players they can to over achieve. And they are solid in doing that for a long time now. I salute the MSU staff and players for consistently proving they are one of the best sports schools in the nation.

I have no clue who will win this game but all talk aside its won on the field and not the news room. All this talk of 3 Star vs 5 Star only matters in high school & I've seen plenty 5 Star recruits not PAN out & 3 stars become big time. At this level only inches separate you from victory and defeat. Having said that I think Michigan State has a great opportunity and I would love to see then win. I like Mark Dantonio and his intensity the way he walks out leading his team.

+Ohio Against The World BAMA's QB last year as a RB/DB that Kiffin coached into a pretty decent QB. He was really a good athlete but he was never meant to be a QB but out of necessity it happened. We could have only hoped to have faced OSU again this year but they didn't hold up their end of the bargain, the payback would have been sweet. Meyer relived how hard it is to stay on top once you get there, he experienced that at Florida and now OSU. Saban has been living this since 2008, he did manage to repeat 11 and 12, probably had a better team in 13 but they never reached their potential. In case you forgot Alabama had over 400 yards of offense as well, enough to win most games they just didn't make the plays needed to win and OSU did. I knew using the word FLUKE would get a reaction because OSU fans feeling of insecurity comes back full force. I was at the Sugar Bowl and when BAMA went up 21 to 6 you could see it in most of their fan's eyes and body language (here we go again). Congrats to them on turning it around and winning. The OSU fans at the game for the most part were well behaved but then you get online and OSU fans were saying that everything BAMA has every done in its history especially the last 8 years is garbage. That's how quick they went from being afraid of losing to being totally arrogant about their program. One game did it!

Of all the teams that beat Alabama, they tend to be the spread them out teams, dual threat, etc. Like Oklahoma, Cam Newton/Auburn, etc, etc that have beaten them consistently. Just schematically, MSU's style of play is not the way to go in the last 5 years to beat Alabama. They are just too good against that old smashmouth way of playing. And Alabama blew out another team like that, yet again. Clemson's scheme should cause much more issues with Alabama. Should be a close one. But I saw this result coming, and I have been preaching it for the last few weeks. MSU would have been better playing OU, and have Clemson go against Alabama. May have had the better chance to win the title. The matchup vs Alabama causes to much schematic, and matchup breakdowns. It showed.

+Fish4Man61 Oh absolutely, the combination of size speed and athleticism along the front 7 for Alabama was too much for Michigan State's Oline to handle, that being said, because alabama can stop the run so effectively it enables them to play man across the board with two high safeties making it damn hard for even someone of connor cooks ability to win the game. Deshaun watson's ability to run paired with the fact that they have play makers that can stretch the field vertically along with a stout defensive front to shut down derek henry makes it tough for alabama if they have to play from behind because clemson will be able to pin their ears and rush a relatively immobile Jake Coker.
