Totally ignorant mainland mindset to make those allegations from our CM’s speech.Also,so short on info of Northeast history and sensitivity. So our very own CM cannot say the very truth that is yes-we Mizos and Zo brethren have been divided by borders into 3 separate nations but WE MIZOs never forget our brothers and sisters and what our Honourable CM implied is that we must remember that brotherhood cause it transcends borders and we should feel united even if we’re divided by borders.If this mainland journalist took even a minute to study and read upon our history he would understand,but no totally ignored to try and gain any knowledge or context on the background of what our CM meant! Just like they totally ignored to put WHOLE of NORTHEAST PEOPLE’S HISTORY in SCHOOL and NCERT TEXTBOOKS. How would they know? They’re only interested in us when they feel we’re a threat to national interest. And all the northeast people arguing in the comments WAKE UP.We’re too less to be divided by a misunderstanding. I,as a Mizo have many meitei friends whom I consider,even as my own family but don’t drag our CM into the reasons of what has happened in Manipur.THEY are not related. It was the state’s machinery failure if you look at it logically,stop trying to view it theoretically. The AFSPA had been in force in the NE Region for the last 66 years, riding rough shod over innocent victims. Manipur merged as princely state and had its own democratic constitution before INDIAN union ( as kingdom/ country merged ) to indian union ..but more than 75 yrs. Indian govt.
