Most north east which were under British India when India got freedom , instead of being free they were forcefully absorbed into India …n hence the very long history of freedom talk with Nagas n unfortunately for Mizos who also fought the centre , their now CM was also once a leader n their entire army got demolished …when centre used violence and bombed the Mizo armies via air strikes after which they submitted . I respect that Mizos stayed true to their own people ..unlike other north east states , they are not welcoming towards any other people even other north eastern people into their own states …they are very much united and alwys support each other n that’s why there is no problem of illegal imkigrants form Bangladesh n all like in other north eastern states . N their fellow chin in Manipur are also suffering under their state govt …so it’s good for both parties if those in the hill would be assimilated into greater Mizoram under Bharat …they r not asking for any independent jst to an opportunity to safe and protect their own
