I remember being in 6th grade when this game came out. I had heard about this game from friends, so I decided to download the demo. I vividly remember sitting at the very first character creation screen, trying to decide what class I wanted to choose. This soundtrack brings back so many memories of me being a nooby hunter in year one lol

Haha man, that’s really relatable. I was so ass at the game because it was my first FPS. Hell, I didn’t even know I had the ability to ADS lmao. I died like 40 times on the second mission, but when I got it done I was like YES.

Finally found it!! This is the song that brings me back the most.. every time it starts playing when loading into D1.. I remember this was the song playing when i was first making my character the night D1 launched.. Got my 1st XboxOne that night specifically for Destiny. I adore this track, I honestly think it's what hooked me on the game all the way back in 2014. Voyage from D2 is a good track but it doesn't quite match the mystery and wonder that this evokes. It's perfect for a character select screen, almost like a prelude for todays adventure. Weirdly enough, it actually plays in D2 when you fail an activity!

I never played destiny 1 when it was popular, but I have played it a couple times. Destiny 1 just feels so much more “spacey” and cosmic than destiny 2, and destiny 2 used to feel that way but it doesn’t really anymore

i know exactly what you mean man, i agree. Destiny 1 felt more dark, evil with a feeling of unknown. thats what made me fall in love with House of Wolves and the Black Garden for example. i feel D2 is more bright and futuristic for the worse, its a complete opposite of what bungie should've built upon, we now got these goofy hoverboards we can do tricks on... respect to you man, i feel the exact same way
