I'll be honest, I might be I the minority here, (Well, I know I am, actually.) but I don't really care about any of this. On the spicy drama scale, this is all pretty lukewarm to me. And I know it probably should be a lot, considering it's MrGirl and Lav. But these are people that have already been registered as socially challenged in my mind. I'm almost exhausted having to think about them. The fact that MrGirl and Lav both think that Destiny is a sexual predator just speaks to their inability to empathize and interpret very simple social situations. In the real world, when I'm given the choice to interact with people like this, I don't. MrGirl is boring, I've always found him to be boring. He's never wrong, he's twists words, and I don't think he is very fun to be around. No offense, but he's the literal definition of a square. Lav is okay, but I don't have the same strong feelings about her that most people seem to. I honestly feel like we've never even really gotten to know her. Honestly, I don't know what it is that makes her that interesting. She's only interesting, in that she is always wrong, and says wrong things consistently and confidently. I don't really care for lolcows who take themselves seriously. Cause then it feels like I'm laughing at them, not with them. Just two boring people, in my opinion. I think both Max and Lav are aware that they are both narcissists, if you don't watch the whole conversation through that lense keeping that fact in mind the whole thing doesn't make any sense. The fighting over who gets to be in the parental role dynamic and all. Lavs description of her false self performing for people etc. I think Max has been an open book about this knowingly, just never explicitly stating it. But if you have any kind of general psych-knowledge or is also similar in any way you'd realize this is some kind of cluster-b dude from the get-go. I think Destiny knew this too, obviously but never thought Max would turn on him. But such is his nature, you'll start trusting him and he'll slowly devalue and start separating from you, because that's what he always wanted to do with his mother, instead he has become her and subconciously or maybe just conciously, turn into whatever you've divulged you fear the most. He's said as much in his personal video essays. "The monster inside me" or whatever it is called, describes someone living with NPD, I thought that was kind of obvious to anybody that followed him. And almost the point you were watching to begin with? But to be honest, Destiny is also on some cluster-b shit. He is perhaps not as narcissistically unhinged, but more sociopathically inclined though. There are tons of obvious facts staring you in the face that you ignore when it comes to him though. But it all becomes funny memes. Because he's tapped into that as part of his shtick. This is what makes them all interesting individuals though.

On the topic of sexism in regards to the "unfair" level of hate Ana receives when compared to LTG, I really feel like Destiny doesn't take into account how LTG still is mostly perceived as a "meme" given his known history of past behavior and wild comments. So most people are already primed to not take him seriously at all and just have a laugh AT him whenever he says some outta pocket dumb shit. It's still fairly recent (perhaps a year or two?)that LTG has been trying to be more "serious"(whatever that actually means for him) with himself. So in this case, his infamous status kinda worked out his favor in dumb luck sort of way. And also, from what I remember seeing from the panel with LTG and Ana, LTG was mostly "chill". Did he say some outlandish fucked up shit here and there decently often? Absolutely. But he hardly came off as "pressed" when challenged on a belief of his. He just mostly responded back in a relatively "chill" manner and moved on no prob for the most part. Then with Ana, we can see that she is someone clearly demanding to be taken seriously. And there's nothing necessarily wrong with that, that's cool whatever. But she is very clearly coming in with NUCLEAR levels of heat with her sense of unrelenting conviction in her beliefs. Are they unfounded and completely removed from reality? Nah, I get her point and where she's coming from. But man, does she clearly not a give a fuck about optics. Even if it's towards the detriment of what she is ultimately advocating for. She just makes it so ridiculously easy to hate her. Now, that's not to say that Ana isn't receiving a disproportionate amount of hate because of possible misogynistic undertones from Destiny's community. I'm sure that plays a part in this in some way. I just mostly take issue with Destiny thinking LTG hate vs Ana Hate is an apt example to prove his point.

Adter listening to this for like the 10th time because I love internet drama, something finally clicked with me about the Dad Max thing. Lav says that her fiance or w/e basically was her caregiver, that she saw him like her dad. And basically from this chat on, Max goes fully with rhe weird "Lav is my daughter" thing. It's almost like Max wants to be the closest person to Lav, closer than anyone else and therefore most able to manipulate and control and change her. So it's like by planting himself in the role of her Dad, he can then get all the benefits of being the person she sees herself closest to. Forgetting the fact that Lav's fiance didn't come into her life pretending to be her dad, it was the ultimate result of where their relatio ship developed.
