I agree with you nearly all the time on these sorts of videos, and this is great overall. The one weapon I'd say you're undervaluing here is Ace of Spades. As a hunter main and someone who loves hand cannons, it's easily one of my favorite weapons in the game, and often earns my exotic slot for strikes and even the occasional raid. The firefly and maverick perks represent some of the best synergy in the game where add-clearing is concerned - and for a weapon class that is all about hitting consistent crtis, this weapon rewards you for doing so better than any other hand cannon in the game where uptime is concerned. This is one of the reasons I was surprised to see your rating, as I know how highly you value uptime and consistent, reliable ammo perks. Facing down a massive pack of low- and mid-tier adds, this thing does work. I wonder if part of the low rating might be the fact that you're rolling with perfect balance in the second column - I don't think the stability boost is really needed, and going with reinforced barrel in addition to Truesight IS means the gun hits the max range for hand cannons, and makes the gun feel like a year-one hand cannon when it comes to criting consistently. I'd suggest you give the weapon another shot with reinforced barrel for a few strikes and see how it does for you!

Have you _taken_ Ace of Spades into PvE? This gun is amazing! It's very good impact, so you'll be one-shotting a ton of ads...and to get that bullet immediately back into the chamber, along with a very rewarding Firefly too, I'd really argue that it's not "just there". And plus, it has the hand cannon spinning twirl ready animation, which is always a nice fun touch that makes your strikes a little less dull.

Hawkmoona Matata yeah it’s really good in pve but not so much in pvp , the perks are decent for pvp but another thing about the twirl animation is when you need to switch back because a player is is right in front of you and it does that twirl it wastes the dps you can get on him while he’s shooting at you

I always love it when I have my Zhalo Supercell and the modifiers are on for increased primary damage and increased arc damage at the same time for one strike. Then it gets a AAA++ in PvE strikes.

high TTK is bad, you want a low TTK as it, well, takes less time. suros only has a faster TTK if spinning up is active, but that takes as long to activate as the gun needs to actually kill something, meaning your enemy has to miss to let you get that off or you have to waste time and ammo by prefiring. in regular, normal gunfights monte carlo kills faster, has better base stats and flinches more

I know Hawkmoon is your favorite gun, but why does it get an A in PvE? Maybe a better question would be why are TFC and Ace of Spades B's? The first curse has potential for monstrous damage, and ace of spades has great perks and it can achieve max range. Hawkmoon has lucky bullets and the rest is just terrible. Yeah it has a 13 round mag, but it has lower reserve ammo than any hand cannon I've ever used.

I've been using The Mida multi-touch recently on my bladedancer and I must say the synergy is great. mida boosts my already great mobility(with the air Jordan's too), it shoots fast, has good ammo reserves and has high cal rounds to flinch enemies.

Include the Vex in your review. It is an exotic in the game after all. I love using it in crucible. It shreds at close range but accuracy suffers at long range. if you can still land your shots at longer ranges then it will still melt them.

The Last Word is good but it honestly does get heavily effected by the Hand Cannon Nerf, which needs to be reworked, they either need a new way to nerf them or tone it back by 50%. Though a small fix is using TLW with High Caliber Rounds, i found this to be most effective and it seems to increase my kill range for well paced shots.

I dunno which Monte Carlo you are playing, but mine is a solid A in PvP and a B+/A- in PvE. Exceptional Stability, great range + Highcalibur Rounds makes it a force to be reconned with, plus it's Exo Perk is fantastic for Nightstalkers, Gunslingers and Warlocks.

I found it interessting how incredibly specific Jade was (back before the game became sh*t during early year 2) as I only ever found it useful on first light and other massive pvp maps but it dominated pretty much every single gun avaible (other than panic goldies or truth).

They should've changed the stats majorly when you change The Khvostov weapon type (Ex. If you choose a Scout you're two firing options are 37, 48 scout or the Mida Multi Tool archetype.) That wouldn't be too op mainly because it will just be a gun where you can change it up for different scenarios

I think the jade rabbit is good against shielded enemies since you can't headshot them so once you get their shield down you can headshot them to get your ammo back.

Yea I agree with most of those, most exotics aren't as bonkers as they used to be so therefore they just "exist". However with Jade Rabbit, you can't always hit the head with shielded enemies for example, and much like Chaos Dogma it has great damage potential. I think JR is honestly the best Scout Rifle in the game, alongside Tlaloc. Tlaloc probably edging it.

Ace is way underrated in your list. Hits max range on a hand cannon with reinforced barrel, and still has good recoil control. More like an A-/A in PvE and B+ in PvP due to legendaries also being good.

I would switch the ratings for Monte Carlo and Suros Regime. MC's high caliber rounds provide significantly more utility than spinning up or focused fire do. Plus, Monte gives you frequent melee charges that are useful in PvE and PvP. Add to that the fact that MC's weapon archetype recently got a buff, while Suros's high impact, low rate of fire archetype has been far less useful in PvP since year one, and Monte Carlo is clearly the better option.

First curse should have inf Ammo. The perk does say first headshot in the mag refills it, in the pve side of destiny, if you continually hit headshots. That refills it, that's a new magazine, no? In pvp it Ofc won't oneshot everything, but it's usable. :D

Hardlight was always the gun I wished was better. Coolest looking auto rifle with perks that don't do it justice. I find it hard to believe that all light can do is bounce around on surfaces and shake my screen.

I agree with everything you said except I think you were a bit harsh on thorn in pvp. The range isn't awful, the recoil is bad, but it is straight up and down. You can track them with poison, and you have a faster fire rate. Due to you having a faster fire rate with burn damage, you can kill quicker and it takes 1 headshot and 2 shots to the body. I would give it a B in pvp.
