From what I can gather he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

I think making this an alternate timeline is the safest choice, it seems like what’s implied is that the devs want to create a palatable narrative experience without risking the longevity of the game itself. Putting the game’s setting in the past also helps. Interested to explore familiar characters’ origin stories.

@@sTEALtooth you’re not wrong, but the lore of Destiny is so expansive and filled with mystery and having to explore the franchise at this level may be what’s needed for it to be profitable. Destiny: Rising may be licensed off by Bungie to NetEase, but Bungie owns the franchise, meaning that the influence of these offshoots could bring in more players to play Destiny 2. I wish Bungie would’ve followed through with the Netflix deal, because the franchise is struggling from not having to produce any alternative media or merchandising.

@@sTEALtooth The fallen were never meant to be "friends" of humanity. This isn't Halo. They were heavily advertised to be a main antagonist faction on the level of the hive as early as Halo 3: ODST concept art of them that was teased and all of the E3 footage. The house of Kings, Devils, and Winter were supposed to have a much larger role than being reduced to Scorn Husks in Destiny 2. The halo devs could not predict all the culture war nonsense that essentially ruined this game's plot in the final hours a year out from launch.

We literally received Strand, Neomuna, Skimmer, Enhanced Weapons, Prismatic, The Pale Heart, New Supers, New Enemy types, and Exotic Class Items in a pretty short time period. Some of yall are just to hungry.

The pale heart/neomuna are new locations and EDZ/Nessus (7 yr old locations) are still bigger in comparison. A skimmer is not content. New enemy types after 10 yrs. Enhanced weapons but not a new tier of weapon. Exotics are not as rare anymore and so Destiny 2 lacks that rarity that you see once in a blue moon. Mythic tier was needed at this point

Hunters got a reworked arc blade, warlocks got radiant back with no self res, and titans are using a rise of iron axe model as a super now. They quite literally have no creativity or freshness to their content anymore. 7000 hrs logged btw

So Destiny: Rising is a Alternate Universe, interesting it takes place before D1 was imo is a good move. I'm cautiously optimistic but hope ot turns out great. At 6:10 you can literally see a Garden with a Silver Wing Tree similar to one we've seen on Io & The Pale Heart but much bigger. Also a woman with Ghosts around her, it definitely ain't Micha 10, maybe a different version of The Speaker?

Wenn ich das auf dem PC spielen kann, dann werde ich das Spiel aber, wenn man das wirklich nur auf dem Handy spielen kann, so dann auf keinen Fall. Ich werde es nicht mal ausprobieren
