She can actually sing way better than her parts in DC songs were able to showcase. In her solo/gospel songs and performances it’s visible that she’s real talented. Everyone has their own taste and opinion ofcourse, but it’s basically a simple fact that Beyoncé is the best singer of the group. IMO the most beautiful voice too. But technique-wise, steadiness and range she is the strongest :)

That was the time where digital cameras were even not common and still not widespread in use. You can see everyone brought disposable cameras with a photo-roll still in it and cart board body :p The Nokia 3210 and flippable Samsung phones were in a trend of being as small as possible during those years. Most cell phones didn’t even have multiple colored screens, but still the digital pixel screens with the game snake :p The disposable camera’s are evidence that people still wanted to capture special moments. It was just way less annoying for those standing behind them, coz it was a quick picture and then back to enjoying the show 🙏🏻

@afrikan_kowboi2 жыл бұрын
Dem breaths tho
@pure17692 жыл бұрын
Truthfully, you shouldn't hear the breaths. The goal is to breath through the note, not to suck in air beforehand just to push it out afterward. This is why her vocals sounded rushed and she had to overuse her vibrato. What saved her was her inhibition and immense vocal control. She could make even her mistakes sound good; but there were mistakes. I think she knew that, which is why she continued to train, practice and polish what is now a a near impeccable instrument called Beyonce's voice.
@afrikan_kowboi2 жыл бұрын
@@pure1769 interesting, I don't hear rushed vocals and I hear long phrasing that she seems to breathing through with ease. I like this point though, something to consider
@pure17692 жыл бұрын
@@afrikan_kowboi Most people don't hear Beyonce's vocal flaws, for a few reasons. 1. She hides them well. Confidence is key, and Beyonce' has that in spades. A confident vocal can mask errors easily. 2. Most people aren't listening with a critical (or trained) ear. 3. Most people who listen to Beyonce' are super fans, and they are listening with extreme bias. In their eyes, she can do no wrong. I've even heard people say that Beyonce' has never been sharp, or gone flat, or had any hiccups on stage; and that's simply untrue. A vocal imperfection doesn't diminish someone's talent. Beyonce' is a mere human, who sings for a living. Her voice is going to get tired, and/or fail to cooperate from time to time. It happens to ALL SINGERS (some more than others). People have to remember, the voice is a muscle, it won't always flex the same way each day. That's why it must be warmed up, stretched, and exercised. Beyonce' exercises her voice to a 'T'. What separates Beyonce' from the majority of her peers is her work ethic, drive and perfectionism. But her ability does not come as naturally as people think it does. She's worked hard to be as good as she is; but she's not without flaws; no professional is, they've just learned how to minimize the flaws, and work out their vocal kinks (whatever they may be). Tricks of the trade 😉.
