The _Destiny Fullfilled_ era was slightly more fair in terms of solo parts, they were distributed better. I say "slightly" because Beyoncé still made sure to stay in the middle in every scene and got most of the ad-libs. I love these songs anyway ( _Lose My Breath, Survivor, Bootylicious, Emotions_ etc) for this reason and for the same reason I had never felt their first songs that much.

I remember Destiny's Child explaining the video in an interview. The "couture" version of themselves against the "ghetto" version of themselves, and finally they're both beaten by the "real" version. I'm glad someone explained it, because I honestly could never tell the ghetto version from the real version, but I noticed that one group seemed to be dressed in the leftovers from Janis Joplin's "pirate princess" phase.
