Damn Beyoncé was a lot louder back then. Now she is so awfully shy and coy in her interviews but here you can't get her to stop talking😂
@1990BornBaby
@1990BornBaby 8 жыл бұрын
I don't know why people think Beyonce is this quiet person. People need to learn how to read between the lines. You don't become a person of her stature being slow and shy. She has to maneuver her way though thousands of industry snakes on a daily basis . I't takes REAL guts and strength to deal with that, and still maintain your sanity. The shyness is just her public persona. Her loved ones and people close to her know what the deal is.

Charla Amen It drives me crazy when people say she's not smart. Acumen and Articulation are two completely different things. The music industry has been established long enough for us to know how this story usually plays out. Some of the seemingly strongest of people get chewed up and spit out by the industry, and not only has she survived it she continues to thrive in it 20 years later. It don't get no smarter than that.

This interviewer was dead-wrong unprofessional to have Michelle just sitting there and not engaging her. She should've brought her in later, after interviewing the original members if she didn't know how to include them all.
@MsNotAnother
@MsNotAnother 4 жыл бұрын
Nah you lookin far too into it. Michelle had only been in the group barely 2 years at this time! The interview did perfect. And she also asked the questions that she & the people behind this show ["Revealed"] knew that people back then wanted to know. She had a job to do, according to who she was working for (which was not herself) and I think she handled it very well while coming across as a pretty genuine person. Plus it looked like Michelle was listening deeply to a lot of it herself, as the situation then was still new. Lol Michelle's Right! People be "feeling for her" where SHE doesn't even feel for her! Even though I had a massive support group to help me out, I was determined to raise my son on my own correctly, but at the same time was scarred. When "Survivor" came out and I payed attention to the lyrics, it stirred up the "grown up" in me, as well as my confidence within myself that I can do it. But how can people really blame Beyonce for being the spot? Since being a kid she had that passion and so much courage for singing and dancing. She started that from her parents house and getting other girls to stay to her parents house so they can perform since she was little etc. Beyonce parents did almost eveything to help for the girls to be succeeded. Paying bills, looking for features and producer. How can Beyonce not be the spot? Plus if everything is toward to Beyonce is because this group started from Beyonce and with Beyonce parents money and connection and other girls just joined. Just like Beyonce said some people are not meant to be together. Maybe those girls were jealous seeing that Beyonce was on the top than them and probably couldn't stand that.

Beyonce always carried that group especially vocally. She always just had the IT factor. She produced many of their hits. The group did not start from Beyonce and her parents the group was formed years ago by Andretta Tillman and Beyonce wasnt even apart of it let alone the lead singer. Tamar Davis (from the Tyler Perry plays) was originally the lead, she left, Matthew brought Beyonce to the group, Andretta got sick and passed and Matthew swooped in and took over the group placing Beyonce as lead. So it was all set up to uplift Beyonce. And I hate when they say the other girls didn't have drive or tenacity. They all learned the same choreography, did the same training boot camps traveled to different cities at the same time and were present for the same interviews and performances. If everyone was so lazy in comparison to Bey then she would have been a straight up solo singer out the gate

When Kelly broke them toes she knew she could be on the chopping block next...she said HELL TO THE NAW-NAW-NAW (In my Sheree Whitfield voice😂😂) and performed on stage with them. It was at a Christina Aguilera tour they were opening for so the world was watching. Solange already knew the choreography, and clearly can sing, and knows the lyrics because she heard them over and over and over and over and over 😂😂😂. They got there own tour immediately after. So it would have been Beyonce, Michelle, and Solange as the new DC3

A good example to set would be make it work with the original line up now TLC will forever be my favorite because they stuck by each other through ups and downs and the years they spent going through what tore other groups apart was half of the time that they had as a band with 3 members now that’s setting a good example not throwing away a friendship and jeopardizing your career on petty things that could be resolved,

TLC and Spice girls are the highest selling, and it makes sense because in BOTH groups the girls were treated as EQUALS. There were no "lead singers" , all of the ladies were an equal ensemble, Destiny's child can't say the same thing

I know this is like 15/16 years old and everybody's moved past it and everything but I did feel some kind of way for Latoya and Latavia.. 😞 You mean to tell me these kids worked that hard for so long even to the point of dropping out of school to pursue this dream and when they brought up a valid management concern they were dropped just like that??! I think they atleast deserved a second chance before being given the boot.. They'd put in the actual work and I think they deserved to see the fruits of their labor. That woulda been the perfect story, growing up together, working towards, and completely dominating the music industry together. No offense to Michelle, but I just don't feel like she was as deserving (and Farrah Definitely wasn't!) she kinda just showed up right place/ right time. 😑 Ugh rant over

Actually i think michelle with her distinct voice added a sound that complemented the other members and a voice that helped define the whole dc sound..she is one heck of a vocalist..in my opinion, a better singer than all the girls that left or got kicked out combined..

That's not fair.Michelle came in when she came in but she worked the long hours just like the other two. Michelle may be the least talented but she IS talented. She saved the group. They would never have made it as a two girl group.
