The Braxton sisters are SICKENING. Their vocal harmonies are otherworldly. When they really want to show off & come together there's no other group that can beat them. The fact that they share the same blood it's an advantage to them because they know each other strengths & weakness by instinct. The vocal quality is pretty evident when they do a octave unison on the spot - it's like different colors coming together to form a rainbow.

This video really didn't show anything for any of these groups. DC has some of the best harmonic moments of all time and En Vogue definitely had waaaayyyy better ones than that. Even the Braxtons had better when Toni was singing with them as well. This video was meh.

En Vogue, the original four, was and still is the trendsetters of the first (black/brown) girl groups in the early '90s. *"Hold On"* was their *number one* hit (single) in 1990 and STILL is my ish. I still remember where I was living when *"Hold On"* came out, and I was in the sixth grade. Their harmony and a capella in the beginning of that song is off the hook. Look at their styles when it comes to fashion/hair as well. Destiny's Child came a few years after the original En Vogue.

On this one I’m going to have to disagree with you on en Vogue. They made the way for ALL the girl groups plus this video did NOTHING for them. No other girl groups harmonies sound better to date and that’s NO SHADE!

EnVogue was the best. Gospel songs are almost always formulated for harmonic purposes. EnVogue's song was neither a gospel song nor was the song written for their vocals in advance. When you can take a song written for a white audience (initially) like "The Star Spangled Banner" that had no intention for soul or harmony and bring harmonic and soulful technique to it you have now turned into vocal engineers. In addition, "Just Voice" not knowing the vocal brand of EnVogue which is "quartet" like its difficult to decide on the best because each group would have to be rated on how well they executed their personal style. You seem to like volume, soul and more brassy vocals so its hard to compare each without having a balance liking but good video. I chose the Braxton's second.
