it's impossible. You need at least 4 people for the daughters, 3 for the warpriest, 5 for the prove your worth If your team Is REALLY coordinated and 3 for the rupture. and that's only for the mechanics, you have to consider the HM rage timers and health.

One thing my fire team discovered is that with the unstable light, you can run up to golgaroth and explode on him, which would deal massive damage.

We changed one thing and got it done. When Oryx is raising his hand preparing to slam the first plate, pop 2 bubbles in the middle of the Daughters platform, one Weapons and one Blessing and start killing the ogres. This helped us not die too much and kill the ogres quickly so we can get to the aura safely.

When my group did Oryx HM, we had 2 hunters who both went Gunslinger. They both used the Nighthawk, and it was invaluable. At 310 LL the nighthawk could take 90% of the vessels health, or at least 3/4 of an ogres heath. We had several defenders making orbs, so they had their supers up often. Definitely worth taking a look at.

Datto, you should also talk about what specific weapons you'd recommend and their respective power to get through hard mode. That's also important. Many people couldn't complete this either do not have enough light level nor have enough powerful weapons or the right weapons to do this. The touch of malice is my strongest weapon at 310

What my group did on oryx was have a titan with weapons of light pop his bubble in the middle right before oryx slams his fist, That way the two roamers have weapons of light for the ogres. Helped out so much. But got to try the blessing strat now that my group has really good snipers.

+Brady Daugherty You do not not need to kill the vessel, its a matter of ring when it comes to two manning it, people have learned to control the vessel to two man it on normal, the LEKs are the only extra thing to worry about excluding getting destroyed

Having found that all the chests weren't giving me loot because I had done Normal mode; I decided to flip Oryx the finger and wait for next week. Only HM loot I got was off actual bosses a la Warpriest and Golgoroth. Don't like how chests are shared loot pools.

There will not be a challenge mode. What they meant by "it's not just going to be easy and hard mode" is that they aren't just going to change the light level of the raid like the previous 2 raids. They meant the mechanics might slightly change, which they did

At higher light I'm sure its not gonna be a big deal but for now raid groups are really held back if there is more that 2 warlocks

The hard raid overall isn't too much harder. A good tip for the blessing bubble and malice strat is have the ogre helper go on top of the platforms where the sisters are. Also have the last plate guy go up with him. Then both players should malice every ogre in order and they will die sooo fast. Also the ogre helper should aim to kill the last guy's knight ( if the guy cant) since they are in a good spot to snipe them. I've beaten the raid twice so far and its quite easy. Assuming every player does their role and nobody dies.

just in case you didn't know, light eater knights don't spawn until the corresponding ogre dies. so if the second ogre were to die before the first ogre the second ogre would spawn first.

I got really unlucky with the unstable light debuff. 5/6 times it was me. I usually stepped outside of the goo into a WoL bubble to renew the buff but I doubt me leaving and entering the pod has anything to do with how the debuff is applied.

Finally beat Oryx, with a fairly unusual strategy. Basically the same fight but we had two titans up on the top pillars helping everyone DPS Ogres down and take out the Fourth light eater Knight. Then everyone would go mid with the Aura and shot Oryx and detonate the orbs. Having those two Titans help kill Ogres was so much easier as everyone on the plates could focus on the Knights and Adds with time to spare getting to middle. All that using a LFG team of British, American and Australians lol. Got a 317 Pulse, 314 Rocket, 310 Exotic and a 303 Shotgun, plus the Emblem. Not half bad. Now im 312 Light on my Warlock.

+burns0100 My team had a similar strat. We just had two assigned to mob duty and I was assigned to kill the third and fourth light eaters. That small change we did made all the difference and we consistently got further and further into the fight. Then we started getting on point with our roles and managed to beat him despite some set backs.

Depends on the team, if they're all over 310 and alright with carrying you through which would be very rare to happen, you could get away with being around 305. Generally 308-310 is what teams look for on hard.

Isn't there only 2 times that you need to damage oryx (shoot him in the chest) 1. To stun him and 2. To get the damage after the corrupted light has been detonated. I didnt believe that constant damage was needed the whole time to allow damage after the destruction. This may be something you want to test out as one more person with ToM shooting would help allot.

Here's something that has been bothering me the past week.You know how in court of Oryx and in king's fall there are these chests that give you loot when you get close to them and they blind you to death? The stupid amount of low level gear wasn't great though as pre hard raid I had everything at 310 except for ghost and legs at 309 on most characters.

+StarWars Spartan just select the thing that u mostly like Warlocks They revive with one super (sunsinger) they trow a bomb to the distance with other super (voidwalker) they can clean easily from adds with the other super (The arc one) Their jump is considered the worst their grenades are considered the best Hunters ehmmm. I dont know if u count the evasion :P it is really good for me (void subclass) They can become invisible with two subclasses (void and bladedancer) Their super is right now the secoond best in crucible (the golden gun, 3 shots) (gunslighter) their other super in pve can help making that balls of enemies dye really fast (not as fast as the warlock) That super in pvp can cancel the supers of the people (void) their grenades are the most variated (that doesnt mean the best, I like them a lot) they are the only class that double jumps Titan Their super is considered the new monster of crucible (solar) they have a lot of grenades that one shot you if trowed correctly their bubble is really helpfull for raids and pve generally (defender) they can kill u with one kick (with the striker subclass) thats the most important :p u decide
