Thanks for the info! I have found myself in a terrible situation and here it is... I’ve always had pretty good skin and really didn’t have to wear much makeup...so here I am middle aged with a diagnosis of lupus! The lupus butterfly loves to present itself also I have that stubble on my chin that many older women have. After a few years of picking my chin the hyperpigmentation is horrible. This has helped thanks so much

Hello from the UK Please can you do a tutorial on light brown (not mixed) blue/black hyper-pigmented skin for an everyday look. I know you stated that it IS possible via the two methods but frankly your skin is both darker and beautifully clearer than mine which means that I am not able to fully appreciate that the marks can be covered. Also please book a UK class as I and many friends would happily pay significant prices for your time.

With how much coverage are in products these days, its rare when I feel like the foundation and concealer need that extra help of a color corrector. With that being said, I like your technique. Just have to be careful not to use too light of a color corrector or you'll give yourself the opposite problem.

Even though this tutorial is for dark skin, I'm "light skindid" and learned a lot. Foundations tend to go gray around my mouth area. I've tried color correcting, only to go from a gray beard to a red beard! 🤦🏽‍♀️ I'm so tired of buying products and end up washing my face afterward. I never thought to combine color corrector - this helps A LOT. Please keep up the tutorials and tips! I'm in a more mature demographic (50 in 2020), so I'm not trying to be all Instagram glam, but I simply want to look polished. Again, this helps! Question - I have freckles. I don't necessarily want to cover them, but how do I even out my skin without looking heavily made up? Can I color correct under sheer-to-medium coverage foundations?

Thanks for sharing. I have a lot of discoloration and hyperpigmentation. I use peachy color correctors for my skintone. I learned from you years ago how to do it. Sometimes depending on the foundation I use I won't have to correct like MAC Studio fix fluid and Wet n Wild photo focus foundation. They both have me super flawless.

This is still a bit of product for me. My face cannot take this much product. I feel like I am need of a minimalist look that is like half a pump and tiny tiny bits. A lot of this stuff makes me feel mask like and then I have to spend time spraying my face down a lot. I am learning though and appreciate some of these tips as I do have dark eye circles that I struggle with because I also have allergies so my eyes are always running and so my eye area needs super super attention with minimum products because I have dryish skin.

Thanks so much for breaking the "orange" corrector thing down. But when you have "darker" hyperpigmentation just about all over your face, how do you keep it from coming thru your foundation? I feel I need to color correct first because my dark spots are deeper and I need to cover them before the foundation.
