Rahm and Sha Well I'm white and I absolutely love this song. Not many songs with this kinda message (an actual one about the situation of the world) make it big because I'd imagine the people with the real power don't want the sheep thinking about these kinda things. Stick to soaps, sports & celebrity gossip.

Didn't you get the song message? it is trying to spread positivity. them critics are controlled by "the powerful" and thus with peace and love means lesser money value and control. they just have to ruin this song and limit its exposure. ;)

There are times I find it hard to sleep at night We are living through such troubled times And every child that reaches out For someone to hold For one moment They become my own And how can I pretend that I don't know What's going on? When every second every minute Another soul is gone And I believe that in my life I will see An end to hopelessness Of giving up Of suffering Then we all stand together this one time Then no one will get left behind Stand up for life Stand up...... For love.... I'm inspired And hope For each and everyday That's how I know that things are gonna change So how can I pretend that I don't know What's going on? When every second With every minute Another soul is gone And I believe that in my life I will see An end to hopelessness Of giving up Of suffering If we all stand together this one time When no one will get left behind Stand up for life... Stand up........ For love...... And it all starts right here And it starts right now One person stand up man! And the rest will follow From the forgotten From the Unloved I'm gonna sing this song, And I believe That in my life I will see An end to hopelessness Of giving up Of suffering If we all stand together this one time Then no one will get left behind Stand up For life Stand up And sing yeah Stand up For love For love For love.....

Exactly. I was eight years old when I first heard this song. Now I’m 26, and I can’t hear it without feeling so hurt inside bc there are so many children suffering. And Beyoncé doesn’t really care about Palestinian kids. She literally was screening her movie in Israel during this conflict. It’s sad to see. But it’s a very moving song.
