Beidou User here, to everyone who is struggling to do a perfect counter is usefull to know that you don't exactly need to press the button in the exactly instant that the enemy attack connect. The counter actually has some frames (close to 10) after you pressed the button that still count as a perfect counter, so you can press and hold a little early before you got hit and when the enemy attack connect you release the button (But you need to release it's fast, if you hold it's will count as one of the hits to the full charge.)

Yes, finally you've covered this monster. I use her as my main DPS from day 1, and she is the real carry when we can perfect counter in the middle of her normal attack. Xinqiu, Fischl and Sucrose are her best friend. Zhongli make her become a tank. She is really a hidden gem in this game. I can solo floor 12 with her and still get 8/9 stars.

I don’t think he’s that fragile tbh, all you really need is a good support or just learn when to use him lol. my main team usually consists of geo traveler (shocking I know lmao), beidou, amber, and kaeya, though i’m trying to build xiao so he’s taken kaeya’s place - I’ve seen people that use his burst and just spam plunging attack which i kind of dislike, mainly bc I don’t like having him lose hp and it’s kinda boring to spam it so I just use his burst as sort of a last resort. his e is rlly useful against all sorts of enemies, and u can even use it in the air which is great!! idk if this made any sense at all but xiao is super fun to play and he can do big damage if u give him a decent build

I'd still recommend electro bonus damage before C4, with Beidou you're constantly trying to trigger your ult and of course those huge counters, and that damage adds up to a lot more than her auto attacks. Especially so if you're pairing her with Fischl for insane ult uptime. But of course you're still gonna be autoing things, so in terms of set bonuses I go 2 piece thundering 2 piece gladiator to get that universal atk buff

U could use bloodstain and thundering sets for hybrid damage. Considering you'll auto attack a lot on beidou. 18% atk is not that much of a big deal honestly, plus, gladiators are so hard to farm

@@Heliotropic95 So the team I'm currently using on Beidou is with Fischl, Xinqui, and Jean. My reasoning is that with Xinqui's excellent hydro application with sacrifical sword, and the insane amounts of electro, you get the best possible reaction damage. Superconduct is alright, but less overall damage I believe considering the copious amounts of electro and potential for reactions. I don't recommend overload, I tried it for a while and you really yeet enemies away, it's annoying to constantly sprint back after them. Finally, Jean I feel fits the best final spot, gives you some CC to control the battlefield, healing, cleanse with her ult, and viridescent venerer for the resistance strip. But of course, not everyone has Jean, but Qiqi might actually be a really good replacement. Tons of healing, procs superconduct a bit which does help alongside the electro charged damage, and gives you a bit of CC flexibility with freeze. Mona isn't _bad_ persay, but problematic, especially with Beidou. Beidou WANTS to be hit, and Mona has a taunt, which most importantly tanks your damage. Mona also CC's smaller enemies with her ult, meaning they aren't attacking, which is problematic too. And Xinqui's hydro application, even without sacrifical sword, is way more consistent than Mona's. And as good as Sucrose is, there really isn't a place for her on the team unless you're speedrunning fights and don't need a healer. As for the event, obviously if you don't have Xinqui I'd recommend that. But if you do, it depends. As a rule of thumb, I always prioritize having a new character over constellations, to have a better time building comps for the ones you like. Beidou's C2 isn't bad, but it's pretty niche to have enough enemies close enough for you to see the extra chain lightning actually do something, however it is notable that her C4 is real good, so building up to that is far from bad. But I'd definitely recommend picking up Ning or Xinyan if you don't have them (if you already have Xinqui). Funnily enough, Ning and Xinyan are also my mains. My comp of Ningguang, Zhongli, Fischl, and Bennett absolutely STEAMROLL content, especially with the geo buffs. If you want a really strong geo focused carry with a unique playstyle and micromechanics, definitely recommend Ning. Though her best support Zhongli might be inaccessible, however Albedo or Geo MC do just fine. Oh, and Fischl is there because of a unique interaction with her ascension talent, where she creates an extra lightning bolt of damage for every reaction you do while Oz is out. Well, that talent actually works with Crystalize, and Ning is CONSTANTLY doing that, so it's real good damage. And Bennett cause Bennett. Although one problem is her weapon, she doesn't have a whole lot of good options available. If you really have no good weapon, Frostbearer is probably your best bet to craft. However, if you're looking to make her real strong, I recommend Widsith and ESPECIALLY Solar Pearl. Ning loves crit stats and both bring that to the table, Solar Pearl with it's crit rate stat let me go ham on crit damage with artifacts and it's real strong. _Most importantly_ Solar Pearl is absolutely perfect with Ningguangs aesthetics, IT'S SUCH A PRETTY WEAPON I love Xinyan too, her ult is one of the most satisfying things in the game. She can work as a physical carry with her and Bennett, Fischl, and Kaeya, doing a careful job of not messing up superconducts with pyro application. She also works as a physical support, considering she buffs physical damage with her shield and does a ton of physical ult damage as well, I'd recommend pairing her with Razor, or really any physical carry, with once again trying not to futz up reactions with her pyro. However, I will mention that a lot of Xinyan's power is locked behind her C1 and C2, the attack speed and 100% crit on her ult is STRONK. @@Heliotropic95 Well, Sucrose gives you the debuff, once you have 4 piece Venerer, and that will allow for some larger electro hits. She also attacks quickly and her swirl can trigger off the electro from Oz and Beidou. However, her elemental mastery buff won't benefit you much. Super-conduct is crappy damage. Mona I don't have any experience with, as I don't have her, but I can say from using Barbara, hydro + electricity can do some nice damage, especially once you get Fischl to C6. Overall, I think I'd go with Mona over Sucrose, just because tasering enemies with hydro+electro is fun, and it'll let you freeze enemies. As to the pick a 4-star event, I'd say it depends. 1) Xinyan is another claymore user, so do you want that or would you rather have something different? And if you do want that, do you already have Razor, Diluc, or whoever? Her shield does give you pyro status, which means it can be used to cleanse effects, handy in certain domains, and potentially the spiral abyss. Also, she's available to test run right now, so try her out and see how much you like her. 2) Ningguang is also a DPS, and she's a greedy one. She wants to be on the field a lot of the time. So she'll be a character you want to build a team around. But she does work well with electro support, like Beidou's burst and Fischl's elemental skill. She could easily fill the fourth slot on your team as well. Her wall can block damage, and the shields geo provides will save you hp. Her passive is also handy, helping you find mineral locations or, once you know where they are, saving you from having to travel as far to know if they're up. To maximize her damage, though, you'll want her on the team with another geo, since the geo resonance provides some nice perks. Furthermore, she has strong constellations, so if you do think you'll use her, you'll most likely be wanting to commit more to her in the future. She'll be on Keqing's banner, so you'll be able to try her out then. And if you intend to roll on said banner, you might get her that way. Mostly, it'll come down to how much you want to "catch them all", and to who do you think you're actually likely to play. Ning is one of the best four stars (and the top geo DPS), but Xinyan isn't bad either. They're all four stars, though, and with 13 rotating through the character event banners (though they'll start to add more shortly), and three per banner, you'll see them featured about every two months. Plus you can get them from the standard and weapon banners. Eventually, you'll have them all.

Beidou is better used with Tartaglia instead of xingqiu. His Tide fury procs Beidou arc every second as he hits more than once per second. And since he applies hydro on hit, it triggers electro charge on every hit. The aoe of his attacks make sure they get hit with as much damages as they can. And then you add Ganyu ultimate... they're always frozen and they get hit with super conduct. So it's a double whammy.

Love everything said in the video, but having used her since day 1 of getting her back in the childe banner, just a few things to say if you really plan on building her for main dps. As great as the 4 piece glad set is, her counter is able to be done every 7 seconds which is almost perfect timing for most enemies. 4 piece thundering fury doesn’t work well as electro reactions are just not fantastic. Thundersoother is a no go because she doesn’t proc electro all the time like Fischl. I think by far the best set for her dps is 2 piece gladiator/2 piece thundering fury, which increased your counters damage which is her main Dmg. I highly recommend this set to increase her overall Dmg. Because her counter is coming every 7 seconds unlike other characters whos burst is what they’re huge crit is coming from, crit rate is not highly prioritized so that you can build into crit dmg to crazy numbers. I run 30/150 rn and I hit around 50-70k just running around Teyvat, while also getting 161k in abyss. Weapons of course will be important, but it’s important to know how to build you artifacts around the weapons because of how very picky beidou can be. Blackcliff gives crit dmg, meaning you drop 1-2 artifacts into crit rate while still getting massive crit dmg. Serpent spine gives crit rate, allowing you to solely build into crit dmg at the cost of around 30% crit rate. Besides those two, it’s a bit harder to work with cause even the WGS gives atk% meaning your artifacts are more spread out between the crit%. Because electro reactions aren’t fantastic, I recommend building any character that can be considered support for her. My go to team is Xinyan, Childe, Bennett, Beidou. Childe is my sub dps and actually only comes out when her burst is ready because electro charged is the best of the electro reactions. That could be replaced with Xingqiu so beidou can stay on field. Even dps barb will make those crazy reactions. Also constellations aren’t needed for her and shouldn’t really be worried about for artifacts as he was saying. You do not need C4 for the electro cup or thundering fury. C1 is the only constellation I would recommend because of the shield provided by her burst. Everything else is just there to make her more strong, but is not needed to make her a great counter dps. Besides that, Bennett is not useless on a beidou team because the electro proc from her E is very small, so just put some space. That’s all I’ve got. I’ve been using beidou as a main dps for over 90 days now, so if y’all got any questions feel free to ask.

How did this reviewer know I was building her just now? I was banking on more constellations from Xiao banner but all I got was Xinyan and Diona. Got my first Beidou from purchasing her from the shop. She's going to end up as my main DPS for my second or third party. Thanks for getting straight to the point unlike some other KZbinrs. She's going to be C0 for a while unless another banner blesses me with more. I will get her from this 1.3 making her C1 when we get to pick Liyue's 4 stars. My goal was to achieve at least a minimum of C2 by end of Xiao banner but I don't want to use my 50/50 on Xiao when I'm already 70 into the pool.
